We will be putting the dog name and rescue name on the freedom picture. 🆘️ 🐾 🍼 Meet 9 month old puppy Zed ID #A2098320 Age: 9 months Sex: Male Breed: Staffordshire Mix Color: Gray/White Weight: 36 lbs Intake Date: 9/28/2026 💔 Zed arrived at BARC with his 9-month-old siblings, Zara (#A2098319) and Zac (#A2098321), along with another dog, Dina (#A2098317), who may have been their mother. ❤️ Zara and Zac were SAVED! 💔 Dina was KILLED. Now Zed is the only one left waiting for his chance. ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES Zed arrived with thinning hair, hair loss along his lower body, and a flea infestation. Veterinarians suspected dermatitis, possibly caused by a flea allergy. He received Advantage Multi, deworming, and vaccinations. ✅ Heartworm negative ✅ No URI symptoms noted on 10/15 ⸻ 🐾Behavior notes: Zed was initially timid, sometimes freezing or crawling low during walks. But with gentle encouragement, treats, and baby talk, his confidence began to blossom! He Greets staff with a wiggly body, soft eyes, and a wagging tail. Has walked nicely on a loose leash, although he sometimes pulls. Takes treats gently and responds to encouragement. Was spotted happily playing with a plush toy on his cot! Enjoyed walking and playing with his sibling in the outdoor run. He deserves to grow up, experience love, and have the future his siblings were given.
