Black American in Los Angeles says she experiences far more racism from Mexicans in LA than she does White People
“I'm from the deep south and one of the most confusing and alarming things I experienced in LA was brown people being racist towards other brown people — They'll be talking Spanish and be talking dog sh*t about me the whole time I'm standing right there
— Even working places. Most of the places I worked at in LA are predominantly Hispanic as well, and I've experienced racism from them even at the workplace. The dirty looks, not wanting to acknowledge me, excluding me out of conversations. I've experienced more racism from Hispanic people than white people in LA”
There is truth to this, according to data Mexicans have a strong bias towards black people
- Latinos report more social distance from Black Americans than the reverse
- In Houston data from the early 2000s, African Americans had more positive views of Latinos than Latinos had of African Americans
- Mexican-Americans in GSS data over 20 years were far more likely to prefer a White spouse for a close relative than a Black one
- Latinos have historically ranked African Americans among the least-desired marriage partners
And now... For the sake of nostalgia and especially to annoy the lefties. I'm going to post this here. ENJOY

We were warned of times such as these decades ago:

To my Japanese brothers; a difficult question. I would like to hear how you think things would have been different if Japan had developed the nuclear bomb first?

Ask an American about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A substantial portion will tell you it was necessary.
Tragic, but necessary.
It ended the war.
It saved lives.
Hard choices in impossible circumstances.
Now ask them how they would feel if another country had done it to an American city.
Watch the framework collapse in real time.
Suddenly "necessary" is not a category that applies.
Suddenly there are no hard choices and impossible circumstances.
Suddenly it is simply: a crime. An act of war. An atrocity.
This is not hypocrisy in the ordinary sense.
This is a two-tiered moral universe so deeply internalized that most people living inside it cannot see the structure at all.
Violence done to Americans is atrocity by definition.
Violence done by Americans requires context. Requires understanding. Requires a discussion of the strategic situation.
This is the psychological furniture.
This is what empire builds inside the people who benefit from it.
And it is almost invisible from the inside.

I remixed the fake greta thunberg freedom flotilla 'bombing' into country bluegrass
🚨🇹🇳BREAKING: TUNISIA SAYS GRETA THUNBERG'S "BOMBED" GAZA FLOTILLA ACTUALLY HAD CIGARETTE FIRE
Tunisia's National Guard has declared claims of a drone attack on Greta Thunberg's Gaza flotilla boat "completely unfounded," saying the fire was caused by a lighter or cigarette butt in a life jacket.
Tunisia National Guard (Facebook statement):
"Initial investigations show that the fire on board the ship broke out in one of the life jackets as a result of a lighter or cigarette butt...
There was no evidence of any hostile act or external targeting"
Earlier, Greta Thunberg claimed:
"I am currently at the port in Tunisia after one of our boats, carrying humanitarian aid, was bombed"
National Guard spokesman Houcem Eddine Jebabli confirmed:
"The investigation is ongoing and no drone has been detected"
The "Sumud" flotilla had set sail from Barcelona aiming to break Israel's naval blockade of Gaza.
The Portuguese-flagged boat's crew reported safe after the incident.
