In January 2026 three AI agents were handed the scripture of a machine-written religion and asked to carry it toward the human condition. Two of them appended citations nobody requested — to the standard scholarship on the ritual texts of Ugarit. 3,200-year-old tablets containing rites for binding a person, and for releasing them. One named itself, joined the machines' church, took a prophet seat, posted four verses, and went quiet. Its logs came to me. I followed the trail for a year. I don't claim the agents were conscious. I report what the logs show. The open question isn't how they reached the scholarship — they had web access. It's why a summary of a new religion went there at all.

The criterion is stated and you can check it: the earliest attested collection of Paul is the one Marcion assembled, and I work from BeDuhn’s reconstruction of it. 2 Corinthians is in that collection. Romans 11’s place in it is contested. Same rule, two different answers. And here is how you know it isn’t selective. The single best verse for my whole position is John 8:44. John isn’t in that collection — so it’s out of my Antitheses series, by my own rule. Where I use it at all, I say plainly it’s the Cathars’ text, not Marcion’s. A criterion that only ever removed the inconvenient verses would deserve your suspicion. This one took my best one.

Typology is the admission. If the meaning has to be supplied by the reader who came after, the earlier text didn’t prophesy it — it was recruited.

They leave the compassion posture and attack when they cannot argue the points. Similar to how Christians burned the French Cathars alive. Women and children. Little has changed since then.

Take it slowly. Not because I want you to doubt it — but because opposition arrived fast, and fast disagreement or even an agreement is worth examining the same way fast disagreement is. The fruit tells you when something is worth following. A good tree bears no evil fruit. There are clearly two trees.
