It’s simple.. Interest rates and overvalued homes. If rates don’t come down the prices will eventually come down. If anyone says the rates aren’t that bad compared to historical rates they are stupid. You could buy a house for 150k back in 1980 and even in the 1990s. That argument doesn’t make sense when a home cost a million dollars at 7.5%. That’s the boomers argument that doesn’t make sense in today’s real estate market because houses are worth 10-15x more and wages have not kept up.
