Despite what is being said it's now virtually impossible to get antibiotics. Today pretty much every call we took was someone trying to get them. It took 6 hours for national suppliers to run out.
Polestar make significantly better cars than Tesla, have a support network that won't make you sign an NDA, understand environmental consequences, and are doing something about it. I expect their bikes to be good, too.

Dealt with at least 20 calls today from people trying to get Phenoxymethylpenicillin for their children. We're out, everyone locally is out, our suppliers are out. We're running out of all antibiotics. Bloody scary.
It's 3:50am. Sleep is being denied me by this (adorable) tiny monster that I found wandering confused, hungry, and very underweight. In the morning they'll be taken to the local rescue, for now they're warm and well fed.

The UK medicine supply chain is screwed. There's currently shortages of just about everything. Painkillers, asthma treatments, chemo drugs, blood pressure meds, even things like insulin. It's going to be an unbelievably difficult winter.

Delighted to note that a @UHP_NHS stakeholder raised cycle facility improvements at the all-department meeting today. It's all well and good discussing more parking, but the roads are past capacity. Time to put money elsewhere.
