Ferguson missing early games — but PBKS actually planned for this.
Ben Dwarshuis is ready to step in.
2nd highest wicket taker in BBL history — 164 wickets in 129 games.
Plus PBKS still have Arshdeep, Marco Jansen, Chahal, Bartlett.
Their bowling depth is actually fine without Ferguson early.
The real concern? Their batting. Three uncapped Indians in top 6.
Ferguson's absence hurts — but it's not why PBKS will win or lose IPL 2026.

Ganguly's footwork against spin was in a different league.
He didn't wait for the ball — he came to it. Advance down the pitch, hit over mid-on or midwicket — that's how you neutralise even the best spinner in history.
Warne had answers for everyone. Ganguly had answers for Warne.
That's what separates good batters from great ones.

Liam Livingstone just said the quiet part out loud 🔥
"I asked England for help… I was told I care too much."
Six months of silence, a cold phone call from Rob Key, and a team that only looks after its inner circle.
This isn’t a high-performance setup — it’s a disjointed mess still stuck in post-Ashes denial.
England fans, this one hurts to read but needed to be said. Time for real regime change or more talent will keep walking.
What’s your take? 👀 @mroller98

ABD dropping truth bombs.
He’s been saying this for ages: powerplay + 2 fielders out = easiest spot to attack from ball 1, especially on Indian tracks.
Regrets not opening more himself — imagine peak AB with those restrictions! Would’ve been even more destructive.
Still the GOAT middle-order genius though. What do you think — easiest role in T20 or overhyped? 👀

Sanju Samson to CSK for ₹18 crore.
Think about what CSK actually bought:
• 4,704 IPL runs in 177 matches
• T20 WC 2026 Player of Tournament
• Kerala born, speaks Tamil
• Captaincy experience with RR
Anil Kumble says vice-captain role.
AB de Villiers says Dhoni should bat higher or make way.
CSK didn't just sign a batter.
They signed Dhoni's successor. Whether they admit it or not.

Tendulkar 100 international hundreds in 664 innings over 24 years — unmatched volume. But Lara's 400* in 2004 was the single most destructive Test innings ever. Volume vs peak — which defines greatness more?..

Vaibhav Suryavanshi turns 15 on March 27.
IPL 2026 starts March 28.
He already has the second fastest century in IPL history — 35 balls.
He scored 175 off 80 balls in the U19 World Cup final last month.
Now he wants Gayle's 175 record in IPL.
A 14-year-old setting his sights on the greatest T20 innings ever played.
Cricket has never seen anything like this kid. 🏏

CSK missed playoffs first time in 2020 — everyone wrote them off. Reloaded quietly, came back and won in 2021. Same story after 10th in 2025? Cycle repeating or broken..

Rahul Dravid talks BCCI foundation and India's growth. Nobody's mentioning how he rebuilt after 2007 WC chaos — lowest moment wasn't just Bangladesh loss, it was the fallout. Ganguly era ended, Chappell gone, team in ruins..

India's lowest World Cup moment wasn't just the 2007 Bangladesh loss—it was the chaos that followed.
Ganguly's era ended. Chappell gone. Team in total disarray. Public outrage, effigies burning, seniors under fire.
That humiliation didn't just end a campaign—it ended an old era.
From those ashes: Dhoni takes over as captain, India wins the 2007 T20 World Cup months later, then the 2011 ODI WC, CT 2013, and dominance followed.
India's greatest era was born from their most embarrassing defeat.
Funny how cricket works. Never underestimate a rock bottom. 🇮🇳 #OnThisDay

CSK finished 10th in 2025. Everyone's writing them off.
Same franchise finished last in 2020. Came back and won in 2021.
CSK don't rebuild. They reload.
Ruturaj. Sanju. Fleming back. 12 days to go.
Never write off yellow.

Will it always be safe?
Lets see the math.
Sachin — 100 hundreds. 664 international innings. 24 years.
Kohli — 85 hundreds. Still active. Retired from Tests.
Here's the problem. Kohli now only plays ODIs. Maybe 3-4 series a year. At that rate — 8-10 innings per year maximum.
He needs 15 more hundreds. That's potentially 10 years away.(assumed ~7–10% innings-to-century rate)
At 37.
Nobody is touching 100. Not Kohli. Not Root. Not anyone.
Sachin didn't just set a record. He built a wall no human can climb.
The number 100 will outlive all of us.

Chahal leads with 221 wickets. Deserves every bit of recognition. But notice who's missing from this list.
Bumrah — 183 wickets in 145 matches.
That's 1.26 wickets per match.
Chahal — 221 in 174 matches. That's 1.27 per match.
Almost identical efficiency. But Bumrah bowls at death, in finals, in Super Overs, under maximum pressure — with a better economy (~7.25 vs ~8.0).
Chahal picks wickets in the middle overs when the game is open.
Most wickets doesn't mean most valuable.
Bumrah belongs above all five of these names.

233 & 72* in Adelaide. Match won.
Dravid only spoke about Laxman and Agarkar.
His away average — 53.03. Higher than his home average.
The harder the condition, the better he got.
That's shows his character.

SR 182 IPL '22 | Fastest Eng T20I 100 (42 balls) | 2022 WC winner.
Asked for help? Told he 'cares too much'.

Two absolute damning parts of this interview that shed light on the England coaching and management regime:
He was told he "cares too much" when asking coaches for advice
When Livingstone asked about the lack of communication over the summer, he claims that Key told him he had "100 more important things to do than speak to you"
I dont often post without having anything to say… but I have no actual words on this.
Two phone calls, lasting a minute each.
Liam Livingstone says that is the sum total of his contact with England's management since his most recent international appearance 12 months ago.
