#TracyChapman performing “Fast Car” yesterday for the first time in 15 years is hands down the best thing you’ll see today. Soothing.

British Columbia has been grateful to host 215 South African firefighters over the past two weeks. This morning, as they prepared to depart for days of rest, they gifted local crews and staff members with a moving ceremony of song and dance to uplift spirits.

Paris is working to become a '15-minute city' where everything you need is located locally within 15 mins. Every street will have a bike lane, 60,000 parking spots are being removed & replaced with parks. They aren't done yet.
We have the solutions implement them.

Earth well on its way to becoming a wasteland. More heat means more disappearing forests, which means more carbon, which means more heat. We are in an irreversible acceleration phase, literally rolling down the hill faster and faster until everything is burned #ClimateCrisis

The first travel writer I ever read was @PicoIyer & his writing and perspective have long been an inspiration to me. I am thrilled to have in my hands his forthcoming new book, which explores the notion of paradise in a divided world. Thank you @BloomsburyBooks !

Well we didn’t win any #CDNScreenAwards tonight but I couldn’t be more proud of our team. We made a series about the history of BC featuring an incredible group of elders, historians, leaders, activists and artists in their own words. To everyone involved, thank you so much! 🙏♥️

I'm often asked by students how they can navigate to a career that contributes to stopping Earth breakdown. Find what you're really interested in - engineering, art, science, law, whatever - and no matter what that is, you can now devote your career in that area to climate action

This is the biggest story in all of human history, yet it makes less of a dent in the news cycle than Will Smith
