A temporary dispersal area is in place in Vauxhall this weekend to address recent thefts and robberies.
@metpoliceuk Officers will be visible and on patrol, with additional powers to deal quickly with those causing harm.
Very fustrated to see the new @TidewayLondon public riverside space will be closed til Jan 5.
A 16 day closure is wholly unnecessary to simply deter NYE crowds who want to watch the fireworks.
Cllr Bailey is pushing for a more balanced approach that maintains public access.
