Make a quick attack and walkaway with a fortune. Some bodily harm cannot be ruled out here to intimidate you and make you comply. But these attacks are way less risky and inexpensive for criminals. We have been hard at work for a decade now to solve this problem and many others haunting crypto holders and came up with Hybrid Custody. You split your stash between a daily burner wallet and create a Hybrid Custody Vault for the bulk of your crypto stash. Hybrid Custody Vaults have a 2 step Unlock & Spend mechanism where the attacker has to first broadcast an Unlock Tx before he can transfer from the Vault with a Spend Tx. There is also a mandatory yet configurable delay (enforced on-chain) between these Unlock and Spend Txs. For High Value Vaults, you just set this delay to something like 2 to 8 weeks and you are set.
