My favourite from this group of pictures taken in December is this. Paraglider using the cliffs of Compton Bay, IOW to make aerobatic moves.
What an absolute joke country we are.

Is there even any Labour fan that thinks this is brilliant from the PM? "the fuel price is shit, so what I'll do is show you on Google maps, just how shit".
It's not even new for gods sake, there's apps that already do this!
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
Most people would stop after the first 3 paragraphs. But you just knew it was leading to the 5th one.
My view: today is the day to remember the deaths of those murdered on October 7th.
Create another day to talk about any who died since. Conflating the two is diminishing one.

"if wrongdoing is established"
I'd say "found guilty" constitutes that Andy! Although guilty means nothing to half your cabinet so no wonder you are confused!
🚨 NEW: No 10 has clarified Andy Burnham's remarks on being concerned to lose Manchester City's owners
"As the Prime Minister made clear, the initial judgement is serious and there can’t be any suggestion that anyone is above the rules. He also stressed that it is an ongoing independent process. It is essential that it is allowed to run its course and the outcome respected. If wrongdoing is established, those responsible should face the appropriate consequences"
She'd probably survive that

BREAKING: Etihad Airways is considering legal action against the Premier League after it was implicated in its ruling that #ManCity breached its financial rules. The Abu Dhabi-based airline says it ‘categorically rejects’ the findings of the competition’s commission and warns it is now seeking legal advice on next steps.

It's changed again. Now it's petrol not diesel. I'm done!
Breaking: UK counter terror police update on RAF Fairford
“We can confirm that no improvised explosive devices were found. However, a quantity of petrol was recovered.
“Yesterday we released the five men on police bail. They remain under investigation and must adhere to strict conditions while we continue our work. The safety of the public is at the forefront of our investigative decision making, and this was certainly the case yesterday.
I understand why this development will have come as a surprise to many, but I'd like to reiterate that it was investigative decision, and one which is grounded in experience and careful consideration of policing powers.”
