🇷🇺 Increasingly TERRIFYING CLAIMS coming out about the PLAGUE SCARE in Siberia and I think the internet is getting dangerously far ahead of what we actually know. A 28-year-old researcher at Russia’s Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute died after developing a mysterious pneumonia. Around 200 contacts were quarantined. There are reports that she may have broken a test tube containing plague bacteria. But here’s the important part: We STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW that she died of plague. Russian authorities say testing has found NO PLAGUE among her contacts, and WHO says Russia has reported no confirmed cases in Irkutsk... Now to the BIOWEAPON claims, that are another leap entirely. Russia inherited a Soviet program that developed ANTIBIOTIC-RESISTANT plague for BIOLOGICAL WARFARE. That history makes transparency about what this laboratory was working on extremely important. But there is CURRENTLY NO EVIDENCE that the researcher was infected with an engineered or weaponized strain. This story is potentially serious enough without inventing the scariest version of it. 🇺🇸 A Palm Beach County meeting got heated as residents grilled officials over a proposed Islamic center, asking about amplified calls to prayer, financing, security reviews and possible extremist links. One resident demanded to know whether nearby neighborhoods would hear the call to prayer five times a day. The response from officials: county rules prohibit minarets and outdoor calls to prayer, and houses of worship are reviewed for ownership, operators and compliance with county rules.
