This isn't right. @discovery is changing its composer deals mid-season, and demanding that composers to give up 80-90% of their agreed-upon income. variety.com/2019/music/news/… #DiscoveryGreed #YourMusicYourFuture

Okay @Discovery let’s break this down for everyone...
As of December 31st, Discovery will no longer commission original music that allows writers to collect their U.S. performance royalties through the PRO of their choice. – at Los Angeles, CA

And then not only is @Discovery willing to outright rob you - they then ALSO want to steal everything you ALREADY wrote for them in years past?!? That is SICKENING. – at Los Angeles, CA

To composers young and old - I understand that these decisions will be hard to make but you CAN NOT allow this to be the new norm. Horrible companies like @Discovery that want to flat out steal your authorship rights away must be told one simple word... NO. – at Los Angeles, CA

Hey @Discovery - get your shit together - you’re already paying these guys a low wage and now you want the one thing that keeps them and their family afloat?
I’m done with you.
