Today, we opened a new chapter in EU–Central America relations.
I chaired the first ministerial-level Association Council, deepening our political dialogue.
We addressed pressing geopolitical issues, promoted cooperation and agreed to expand investment and trade.

On 14 July, the EU and six Central American countries will hold the 1st EU–Central America Association Council in Brussels.
Chaired by @kajakallas & Danish FM @larsloekke, this marks the first high-level meeting under the new Association Agreement.
