The OpenAI and Anthropic IPOs are critical to this era of venture capital; the market needs to understand whether or not SpaceX was an anomaly.
The two private labs have grown to obscene valuations for private companies, but always in the shadow of SpaceX. In some ways, that offered legitimacy.
Ultimately, if they demonstrate that multiple companies can list at $1T+ valuations, and stick it, then there's some hope for the megafund model of VC.
If not, LPs may be deep underwater already as the pace of fund expansion has accelerated far beyond the general rate of growth in VC exit value.

If you've been through this, you know the onslaught won't stop until literally everything is fully secure.
These swarms get inside your system, self replicate and operate real time.
The only way to fight this is to use your own swarm of agents to help.
Because of model limitations, you need to use Kimi K3 and GLM5.3. Grok is somewhat useful too.
Unfortunately this going to get worse, if you own infra start thinking about this now.

"Human plus AI is going to outperform pure AI, so the question is what part do you want to keep human. As a venture firm, what you decide not to automate sends a strong signal about what you believe your strengths are, and what you believe your job is" - @yoheinakajima
Yohei is General Partner and co-founder of @UntappedVC, a research-oriented VC firm, and one of the most brilliant individuals I've had the pleasure of speaking to for @JoinOdin's Going Solo series.
To give you an idea of his range, here are just three of the papers he has published in the last few years:
• Task-driven autonomous agent utilizing GPT-4 — also known as "Baby AGI", one of the first open source automonous agents he developed in 2023, followed by the "Pippin" digital being framework.
• The Shared Discovery Paradox: How a One-Answer Rule Turns Better Information into Worse Search — taking a game theory approach to understanding the dynamics of problems like early stage investing.
• Soft-to-Rigid: Shape Continuation as an Alternative Search for Packing Congruent Shapes — outlining his novel (and record-setting) "hardening" solution to mathematical shape packing problems.
He's also built an autonomous research lab (Distributed Discovery) and a wikipedia style platform for organising knowledge around source data (Epistemedia).
His intense curiousity, and the creativity with which he approaches trying to find solutions or paths to better understanding, are both laudable qualities for a venture capitalist.

but i look around now and i get it
so many people fiddling around with "my custom agent setup" and so few using this miracle of a tool to actually do anything

How integral's $QNT to The Clearing House's future?
Look at what they're presenting at Money 20/20
"Enabling today's infrastructure to create a more CONNECTED, accessible & safe payments FUTURE"
"What's NEXT in payments"
TCH is already looking forward
Quant's integration with them for the OCMI touches on ALL of the points mentioned here
We've already seen each case presented with Overledger orchestrating UK GBTD too
SAFETY
Conditional payment releases only unlocking when set conditions are met to counter potential fraud
ACCESS
Ease of integration with banks that already have tokenized deposits + banks without it can access platform as a service
CONNECTIVITY
One shared orchestration layer across multiple banks with Overledger as the API Gateway + legacy to DLT interoperability as proven in BoE Sync Lab
–––––––––––
This is no longer just a simple "partnership"
Quant is literally future-proofing The Clearing House's payments infrastructure for money to come on-chain

HOW TO GIVE YOUR GROK BOT ITS OWN PHONE NUMBER (so it can handle all the calls you hate making):
this is perfect for all the stuff Grok Bot can’t do on a website, like chasing a refund, booking a table or anything else that needs a real phone call.
it works by connecting your Grok Bot to Bland, the phone-calling bot xAI’s official marketplace uses.
and your Grokbot can set up the whole thing by itself, so you never open a signup page.
1. just send your Grok Bot the Bland guide from the reply and ask it to set up an account for you.
2. you pick the area code you want for your bot's number.
3. you text back the 6-digit code Bland sends to your phone.
4. you tell it who to call and what you want, like "call my gym and cancel my membership."
so the next time you're dreading a phone call, just send your bot to the call and it'll come back with the result.
it’s been amusing watching this go from a somewhat fringe prediction to conventional wisdom across the spectrum.
although not all of it has been digested yet.
most of the internet will be completely obsolete very soon.
it already feels like an abstraction we tolerate for lack of a better alternative. ai agents replacing it would essentially reduce the web to a set of apis & scraped data repositories—just raw material for agent-mediated interaction. no need for direct user involvement; you ask, they fetch, synthesize, & act. search engines? obsolete. social platforms? distilled into personalized outputs. even “websites” as a concept might evaporate—why visit a page when your agent brings you the content or makes decisions for you?
the internet becomes invisible infrastructure, like electricity. the downside: agents would consolidate power even harder than platforms like google. imagine them becoming gatekeepers of truth & commerce, & good luck disentangling bias from synthesis. you’d be trading the wild west of the web for a walled garden of agents.
agents will be the de facto mediators of human desire.

$AMD $NVDA $AMZN $GOOGL @AnthropicAI
Full year 2025 revenue was about $4.6 billion.
Q1 2026 was roughly $4.7 billion.
Q2 2026 exceeded $11.5 billion (with the first positive adjusted operating profit).
Q3 2026 $16.8B? if true, it would be ~$70B+ ARR.
I think Anthropic crushed it.
$16.8B is 1,150% YoY Growth based on available estimates
Of course we cannot expect >1,000% growth like this forever. But it is very much possible that we may look at a clean $110-$150B Revenue for FY2027.
Or at $2T, that would be 13-18x FY2027 PS.
I think the bears are overstaying, and market will bounce back before semis report earning. And Semis will probably crush earning.
Not Financial Advice! DYOR!
BREAKING: Anthropic posted Q3 2026 revenue of $16.8 billion, up nearly +50% from the $11.5 billion recorded in prior quarter, per FT.
Anthropic also told investors that it posted a profit for the quarter as it prepares to launch its $2+ trillion IPO as soon as next month.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Anthropic's reported profit was on an adjusted operating income basis, not GAAP. This metric excludes stock-based compensation, model-training costs, and partner revenue-share (e.g. Amazon's cut); the company remains deeply unprofitable on a full-year GAAP basis. finance.yahoo.com/technology/ai/… dealroom.co/news/other-1wf…

ServiceNow President Amit Zavery (@azavery) says analysts mistake employees using AI for enterprises adopting it:
"Individual productivity, like, okay, I'll go on today, use Claude Code, and tomorrow I'll use Copilot. It's like, fine. It doesn't change the company directly."
"I think the analysts confuse it when they say enterprise is adopting a lot of AI. It's really enterprise employees maybe adopting some AI."

Aaron Levie (@levie) predicts a roughly 100x jump in AI compute once enterprise agents stop waiting for a human to start each task:
"Where the massive, probably 100x increase in token and compute consumption will ultimately come from is all of the enterprise workflows and enterprise workloads."
"Most agents that we're all kind of looking at or thinking about are me sending a task to an agent, that agent basically doing some work for me to speed up three or five hours worth of work in 10 minutes. But it's usually still rate limited by my ability to give that agent a task."
"The really, really big increase in compute and, by extension, effectively agentic workflows is going to be when I deploy agents, maybe in swarms, maybe just in background kind of operations at some kind of frequency."
"We will start to look at every problem through the lens of how much compute can we throw at this problem to solve it either faster or with higher efficacy."
"Everything I just said is still a one to two decade process of rolling out. This is not a thing where there's sort of vertical takeoff across these workflows because of how much change management is necessary to do anything that I just said."
- Aaron Levie, Box co-founder and CEO, on MTS in an interview uploaded October 14. The last quote comes from later in the same interview.

“We found that growth mindset players performed better than fixed mindset players, their mistakes did not affect their attention to the game, and they read more learning feedback than fixed mindset players. In addition, growth mindset players were more likely to actively seek difficult challenges, which is often essential to self-directed learning.”
Gaming Mindsets: Implicit Theories in Serious Game Learning (2012)
In the translation of competitive gaming studies over to entrepreneurship, a clear attribute of interest is the growth mindset.
This refers to founders with a clear long-term objective, who recognise the journey there will involve constant learning and incremental achievments.
These aren't "strivers" chasing a finite victory. They are mission driven, open-minded, and positive-sum in their ambition.

as Europeans, this chart should deeply concern us
Europe is not only lacking on AI infra and frontier labs, but also most people here are not participating in any financial upside
in the US $47k per resident were captured in AI related equities
in the EU, it's only $4.5k
another problem is, if you don't participate in any upside it's way more like to revolt against the buildout which widens the gap even more
it's a cycle that feeds itself
if we want people to feel optimistic about AI and the future, they need to feel positive impact on their lifes
Replying to @_Lonis_
The whole free world should have access to AI’s equity upside, even in countries without their own AI companies.
For instance, European investors, retail and institutional, have been the least successful in the world at capturing AI equity gains
