#HEX could be a hidden gem in all of this continued Hormuz disruption. Much focus continues to be directed towards energy, but the helium market is experiencing far more disruption (and loss of confidence) from a supply source that controlled a greater proportion of the global market (33% vs 20% LNG or 30% oil). Furthermore, oil continues to flow. Helium doesn't. No listed helium play in London is better placed to extract value from this set-up right now than Helix.

I have taken back a chunk of my #HEX holding for a smidgeon more than I sold for in early Sept. I cannot ignore the helium headlines around supply shortages and pricing. With its regulatory issues behind it Helix is now free to build up production and continue to add more wells. The share price was trading at +29p before the market got a sniff of the regulatory hiccup. Since then, Ollie #1 has been drilled and is demonstrating signs of being their best drill to date. I've also read that the next well, Ross #1, has now been permitted. News on this drill is expected before 31st October, along with test commencement at Ollie #1. We should also hear about flow rates and the ramp-up of trailers for delivery in the coming days. The broker sees no lasting effect on Helix's finances from the 2-month sales interruption. Helix also stated in early Sept that the Inez #1 well re-entry issue "has not been significant and will not affect its ability to deliver on any of the objectives outlined in the recent fundraise." Those included "four new production wells targeted at US$1.0 million per well, drilling into known reserves in order to generate material production and cash flow uplift." The July fundraise delivered c. net $12m post the Keyes Helium Complex acquisition. So they should have ample room to increase helium output into a spot market that, according to the article below, has "tripled since the war began" and "could go even higher." One thing is for sure: a stable, reliable helium supply out of the US is going to command a premium for quite some time. What Helix now needs to do is prove the stable and reliable part whilst adding more wells. nationalsecurityjournal.org/…

Congratulations to #HEX and those shareholders who stayed the course. While the company has lost a couple of months of revenue, it will have limited impact in the grand scheme of things. They are back producing and drilling in a very positive helium pricing environment. That is what matters the most. It should be a good day for the stock given the indications around Ollie #1. 👏👏 londonstockexchange.com/news…

Mkt cap of $19M and they could have $120M in annual FCF with $2K margins. That is quite possible. $120M x 10 = $1.2B mkt cap. 🧐

Completely agree with this thesis. You only need one win for outsized returns, and having three shots on goal is massive. 💰 Just picked up 55k shares of #EST at these levels. Ready for the re-rate! 📈 GL all ⬆️ @baroninvestment
I think of it like this. To see material upside, the investment thesis does not require all three funded JVs. That is the striking feature of this setup. Any one of the funded JVs, on its own, can transform the business and the share price. Two successful partnerships delivers the kind of re-rate juniors almost never see. All three would put EST into the £/£s (vs the current 9p). Endeavour have already told us the size of their targets. The beauty of it is that you only need one to see outsized returns. It is a fabulous model.

Added #EST suspect we see more upside from around this level near term. Another that I’d certainly be interested to hear @baroninvestment investment thesis on, podcast remains open likewise DM !!

I heard people around me say that there is a 10x to be had in $PGLD.v from here. I don't disagree, start with the mcap, expected nr of shares after entering production and look at all that gold and copper... If this delivers anywhere near offical plans, the upside is enormous. Now I happen to think there are an enormous amount of additional low hanging fruit mineralization just needing further drilling... meaning, after full mill production, we could look at material expansion. Very exciting stuff, not the least since the management is top notch and super nice people. americas.miningforum.com/mem…

$ATY.v (Atico Mining) has secured financing for the La Plata project. This is an important milestone. Construction decision should follow before year-end. At 60/oz silver and 3,200/t zinc, the silver and zinc by-credits cover the mine's entire operating costs even if we assume a 20% opex increase compared to the FS. Assuming a gold price of 4k and a copper price of 6, La Plata will generate an annual after-tax FCF of USD 72M. That constitutes 140% of Atico's fully diluted mcap with the newly announced convertible treated as converted. EV/FCF multiple is only 2.3x after including the new financing, and that's without any contribution from El Roble. If we include FCF from El Roble at the aforementioned metal prices, Atico's EV/FCF falls to 1.6x. By the time La Plata goes into production, the EV/FCF multiple will be closer to 1x as cash flow from El Roble during La Plata's construction phase will reduce the company's EV. Very cheap name. juniorminingnetwork.com/juni…

As promised, much more detail below (a lot to read!) on EAST STAR RESOURCES (#EST).  A gold and copper play that I believe has major upside ahead. Due to posting this via mobile, I am splitting this longer commentary into multiple posts.   1/6 Who are they? East Star are a £40 million valued metals explorer that over the past 10 months have transformed themselves from an independent explorer into a business with three fully funded joint ventures. Two of these deals see this current small cap fully funded to copper production, whilst a jv with Endeavour Mining (a top 10 global gold producer valued at £11 billion) see’s this gold giant positioning for a multi-million-ounce discovery. Beyond the jv, Endeavour have injected capital into the company for a 14% stake and appointed a member of the Endeavour Executive Management (the VP of Exploration and Growth) to the East Star board.   As a Kazakhstan-focused operator, East Stars assets sit in one of the world's most under-explored but mining-friendly jurisdictions.  The deals offer transformative upside for the business and it’s striking they have managed to retain meaningful equity position in these partnerships on fully funded terms.  Separate to these JV’d assets, East Star owns 100% interests in other porphery and epithermal projects with the CEO Alex Walker making it clear that “If a partner came along at the right valuation we’d be happy to entertain” further deals*. He has an explicit ambition to build East Star into a $1 billion+ company and is clearly incentivised by his 10% shareholding.  His public commitment to a long-dated equity story rather than a short-term promote sits particularly well with me.  As someone who lives in the country and sits on the board of the Kazakstan Chamber of mines he brings a level of in-country credibility that matters. 2.Why Kazakhstan? This pro mining country ranks No.1 globally in uranium production, No.3 in copper, and No.5 in gold and is amongst the lowest-cost producing jurisdictions in the world.   East Star was an early mover into the jurisdiction with the majors BHP, Rio Tinto, First Quantum, Fortescue, Ivanhoe and Barrick also positioned.  The specific region East Star operates in is a hotbed for activity with major deposits surrounding their JV’d assets Verkhuba and Rulikha. Some examples here and all within 20-50km of their assets: •Sekisovskoye. 6.7Moz @ 3g/t Au •KAZ Minerals' Irtyshsky. 30Mt @ 2.2% Cu, 5.1% Zn •KAZ Minerals' Artemyevsky. 51Mt @ 1.9% Cu, 6.4% Zn, 2% Pb •KAZ Minerals' Nikolaevsky. 40Mt @ 2.4% Cu, 3.2% Zn, 1.1% Au •Glencore's Ridder. 225Mt @ 0.4% Cu, 1.7% Zn

$LFLR.CN Added to portfolio because the new CEO is of excellent pedigree. The days of management over-promising and underperforming are done. The new CEO Andrew is very effective and efficient. He’ll either close the deal with Traf or bring in a better one from someone else like OR Royalties or Ocean Partners like he did with the team at Canadian Copper. The drilling outside the pit has been very successful so far and should it continue there is a clean path to staged mill expansion funded internally from current approx 1000 to 2000 to 3000 t/d or from 25k ozs to 75k ozs a year. Plus there are a few non-core deposits around the mill that might to had as well. The grade is exceptionally for an open-pit and it’s a very well endowed gold system that continues well beyond the pit shell. Recent intercepted like: 2.29 g/t Au over 68.30 metres (SW-25-079) 1.18 g/t Au over 255.04 metres (SW-25-080) 1.65 g/t Au over 136.1 metres (SW-25-081) 2.95 g/t Au over 80.00 metres (SW-25-085) 2.37 g/t Au over 88.05 metres (SW-25-086) 1.29 g/t Au over 93.85 metres (SW-25-087) 0.86 g/t Au over 103.55 metres and 1.14 g/t Au over 56.65 metres (SW-25-090) Likely means a larger deeper open-pit down to 300-400m, substantial resource growth and using a $3700 gold price will likely add ozs and convert prior modelled waste into ore. The 1-2 punch. Those who have been here a while I understand your frustration. For me it’s an opportunity entering at this level close to production . At a 40 million mc it’s about a 8 to 1 risk/reward ratio over 24 months.
