The reason this scene works so well, even today, is because of how well they introduce Jimmy as a character. He's rightfully incredibly pissed off, they need his help badly and he knows it. Jules tries to start smooth talking him through this whole thing and Jimmy recognizes it. He busts out the gamer word to shut him down immediately and bring him down to Earth, to let him know that he's not gonna smooth talk his way through this, that he's horrendously angry. He says what the problem is the most blunt, biting way, so he doesn't have to reiterate or make clear what the issue at hand is. And he makes sure that Jules never even THINKS about doing this again. Because it ain't Jimmy's business.
