These freaks and their space fantasies. How about preserving the one and only home humanity has ever known? How about taking care of the humans already in existence instead of grinding them down until their bodies break and pushing them so relentlessly they don’t even have time for a bathroom break?
Jeff Bezos on why he wants a trillion humans in the solar system
"I would love to see a trillion humans living in the solar system. If we had a trillion humans, we would have at any given time a 1,000 Mozarts and a 1,000 Einsteins"
"Our solar system would be full of life and intelligence and energy. And we can easily support a civilization that large with all of the resources in the solar system"

I still cannot adapt, even now. I feel as though I have been suddenly transported into another world. I often ask myself: Who am I? What is life? What does it mean to be human?
These questions penetrate deeply into my awareness of reality, especially because I am not in the best circumstances. This makes everything I am experiencing feel even stranger and more difficult.
In just one day, after only a few flights, I suddenly found myself in a safe place—no more bombs, no more snipers, no constant fear of death. For me, this transition is deeply shocking and painful, and it makes me feel the profound injustice of what we have lived through.
When life forces you in a certain direction, all you can do is react and survive. But when life-changing decisions are placed in your own hands, a different kind of fear begins: Am I making the right decision? Will everything be okay? The unknown feels frightening when you are the one responsible for choosing the path.
Perhaps what hurts me most now is simply being in a safe country, where people live relatively normal lives. It is one thing to know that people live under different circumstances, but it is something entirely different to experience and feel that immense gap every day.
To be surrounded by people who have never had to struggle simply to survive, who have never seen their loved ones and neighbors killed or their cities destroyed, while many consider safety something normal and guaranteed.
Our world is full of injustice, and that hurts deeply. Sometimes I ask myself: How can life continue as normal while my family and my people are still dying?
My body is here, in a safe place, but my heart and mind remain there... in Gaza. 💔

The Netzah Yehuda battalion, known for its severe human rights violations in the West Bank, was under "investigation" by the U.S. @StateDept, led by @SecBlinken, for confirmed gross human rights abuses. These included the death of 80-year-old Palestinian American Omar Assad and the rape of a child.
Despite substantial evidence, Blinken decided not to impose sanctions, citing the Israeli government's claims of remedial actions, including the dismissal of involved soldiers and changes to their training.
However, reports indicate that dismissed soldiers were promoted to senior military positions, raising doubts about the effectiveness of these measures.

The IDF took what appears to be unprecedented action against the battalion involved in my team's assault & detention.
In many ways, that's due to our position as US journalists. In too many cases involving Palestinian journalists & civilians, we've seen a lack of accountability.

This morning, Israeli occupation forces raided and thoroughly searched a Palestinian home in the town of Kafr Al-Dik in the central occupied West Bank, wreaking havoc throughout the property and terrorizing residents, including children.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

There are no words that can truly hold the grief I feel right now. Israel killed @ftounifatima. I watched you grow over the years into one of Lebanon’s most fearless journalists, and I will always be proud to have called you my friend. Seeing you report the unimaginable loss of your own family in an Israeli strike broke my heart and made me fear for your safety in a way I never had before. I so desperately wish that fear had been unfounded. May you now find peace, reunited with your family and your brother who we lost today with you. Rest in peace, Fatima. You will never be forgotten.

Targeting is currently taking place on the land of Al-Sitt Amira in southern Deir al-Balah, and there are many casualties being transferred now to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
There is absolutely no ceasefire — the attacks are continuing in a very intense and relentless manner in Gaza as well.

They are bombing Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran at the same time.
What kind of occupation has this amount of ammunition to wage several wars at once?
Is there any end to this madness?
There is artillery shelling right now from the east of the Gaza Strip toward the west. I can hear the echoes of the explosions while I am in Deir al-Balah, and the sound of the planes in the sky over Gaza is very terrifying.
Earlier today, a car was targeted near Al-Azhar University roundabout in Gaza.
What is happening? Where is the ceasefire that Western media keeps talking about to the whole world?

This is what is happening in Gaza, while the world is not paying attention:
There is an orange line advancing every day — sometimes 200 meters, sometimes 500 meters, sometimes 700 meters — depending on the patrol operating in the area.
Checkpoints and barriers are being prepared around the trenches that are being dug along the entire stretch between the yellow and the orange lines, along with sand berms.
I expect they are planning to move us from western Gaza to eastern Gaza, and then continue their operations and destruction in western Gaza.
This is the reality we are living day after day, step by step, while the world barely notices.

“Do you want to die alone or with your family?”
Lebanese Journalist Radwan Mortada recounted the story of 62-year-old Ahmad Tormos from the southern Lebanese town of Tallousa, who was killed yesterday after receiving a direct call from the Israeli occupation army giving him a choice to either be killed alone or with those around him.
Without hesitation, Ahmad chose to protect his family. He drove away from them so the strike would not hit their home. Moments later, an Israeli drone fired two missiles at his car, killing him.
Ahmad had previously lost his son Hassan, who was also killed two years earlier.

This is Robert Richards, an heir of the Chemical billionaire family The DuPont's.
He admitted to raping his 3-year-old daughter in 2009.
“I feel horrible,” he told the judge, according to court documents. “There’s no excuse for what I’ve done to her.”
His lawyer, calling the 6-foot-4, roughly 300-pound Richards “a somewhat gentle person,” argued he “would not fare well” in jail. Hours later, Richards walked away from Delaware Superior Court a free man.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of rape in the fourth degree, paid a fine of $4,395 and promised to attend a high-end treatment center in Massachusetts.
