People really out here proving their lack of media literacy ever since this dropped.
God forbid we have a character who feels weight and wishes for affirmation because she thinks that shes never enough.
Add the 15th fledgling god, she cant send you to an astral plane, boring
Violet Backstory:
Violet immigrated to The Cursed Apple when she was 12, and while there was a certain amount of culture shock to adapting to New York, she quickly fell in love with the vibrancy of the city. Dedicating herself to the pursuit of the arts, Violet's passion lead her to successes far beyond most of her peers.
First, a full ride to art school.
Then in her junior year, inclusion in MOMA's prestigious celebration of student artists: "The Upstart Gallery".
By any measure she's doing phenomenal for her age, however Violet has not been able shake her existential dread of dying a failure. She knows that commercial success as a fine artist isn't about being good enough. It's not even about being great. It's about being seen by the right person at the right time. And so she has set her sights on The Ritual... not to embellish on her own talent, but just to have a chance to show the world what she can do.

poooooosso falar?

Seeing violet have an actual interesting kit and a enjoyable personality instead of being "quirky uwu smol bean asian girl" number 3295 and the people who were saying what's generic for deadlock is beyond criativity for ow and league get proven completely right

If a regular ass dude, as people are calling her, joins what is essentially a death game to have her wish actualized, I think that speaks more about her character than people realize.

seeing a lot of violet hate because "she's a nothing character" really makes you realise why overwatch is writing is like that. Not every character needs to disclose all their reasoning for doing crazy things you can read between the lines and come to ur own conclusion what-
