Proud members of the Ramblers for the last 50 years! Seventeen walks over nine days. Only one had to be cancelled due to adverse weather, pretty good for Wales. And a superb celebration with invited guests Kanishka Narayan, Jane Hutt, John Deakin and our brilliant members!

Superb day with @RamblersCymru committee, we took part in our Carmarthenshire paths partnership project in Llanelli, it already has over 100 volunteers on the ground - opening the way & making a difference for many ☺️@RebeccaRambler @CampaignerKate @stubo37

Our Peatland Volunteers and Wardens have been carrying out peatland restoration works on Pen Trumau this week ⛰️
Our teams help restore peatlands to reduce peat erosion and rewet peat so that it captures carbon rather than emitting it into the atmosphere 🌎

I enjoyed this too. Bethany is an excellent speaker and is now a new ambassador for @RamblersCymru, so we are going to be a team! 😊
Fantastic feedback from delegates for our interview. Bethany demonstrates principled activism perfectly.
I really enjoyed being interviewed by the wonderful @LeanneWood at @RamblersCymru's AGM today about why access to nature for all matters and the barriers to accessing our paths. Thanks for having me @RamblersCymru 🏴

So how did we @RamblersCymru wrap up day 1 of our AGM? With music & a magician of course. In life it’s important not to take oneself too seriously @CampaignerKate bring a good sport @LeanneWood @RebeccaRambler @RamblersGB
A very large haul of litter, much of it long embedded in the brambles or from recent storms. Great to meet the Vale of Glamorgan employees who arrived just as we were finishing. And as to the person who tossed a banana skin after their run. The bin wasn’t very far away! Shame!
