I got off at Alaoji in Aba from Port Harcourt to head into town and saw a lady at the bus shelter with bus cards on display. I asked how much they were, and she said they were free, but I needed an Abia State Social Identification Number (ABSSIN) to get one. She registered me in a minute and gave me a card. I asked to load ₦10,000 onto it since I would be moving around, but she said the maximum limit is ₦2,000, and each trip in town costs ₦150. It was some sanity.
