We have seen a number of Home Affairs officials being arrested for selling of thousands of Fraudulent documents but why have we never seen the arrest of the people those documents are sold to and why are they not revoked??? @HomeAffairsSA

I spoke to @XoliMngambi to correct the inaccuracies regarding Tshwane’s expenditure on water tanker services. While the former mayor of Tshwane continues to manipulate public opinion, the facts remain clear: The figure of R777 million is a lie. As records show, spending by the previous administration was actually higher than that of the current administration. We’ve spent the past year investing in internal city-owned water tankers that are driven by our own staff. We’ve done this with a commitment to reduce spending on external contracts when emergency water delivery is required.

When I became Mayor in October 2024, I inherited a municipality in serious financial difficulty, with four consecutive unfunded budgets and more than R13 billion in accumulated debt, including approximately R6.7 billion owed to Eskom. Families in Ikageng had endured eight years without reliable water, residents in Soshanguve faced repeated electricity outages, and approximately one in three economically active residents could not find work. That was the Tshwane we inherited. We could have spent our time blaming the previous administration, explaining the problems and making excuses for the state of our capital. Instead, we chose to get to work.

Listening to the @IamMzilikazi podcast of that lady from Kempton park who in July, went jogging only to be abducted by 3 foreign sounding men, driving a black window tinted Polo, she fought them off & manage to escape, opened a case but since July hasn't heard anything from the police, no update, nothing 💔 Now here is a clincher, in August, the very same men came to her house to attack her again. Who gave them her physical address between the hospital where she was examined & the police station where the case was opened? The government expects SAns to sit back & just take it. Accept the military aged men into their communities, risking the women & children to be kidnapped, molested & unalived ? What is the plan here ??

MBOMBELA-A man suspected of robbery and possible murder has been arrested on the road from Nelspruit towards Lydenburg. The suspect, (an amerikano) a foreign national, was busy offering people lifts before robbing them of their belongings. The vehicle was found containing a significant amount of blood, several cellphones, and bags filled with clothing and other travel items. He was arrested after attempting to evade traffic officers and crashing the vehicle in the process..”

No. When they reject them, they can appeal. And then they get given a permit. And with that permit, they are protected to live here for as long as the appeal process is underway. The issue is there is a backlog in appeals, meaning you can stay here 19 years or 19 months or whatever time, while your appeal is being processed.
