My sister’s elderly frail priest died of covid after continuing to say Mass open to all as per RC recommendations. I don’t think they mentioned self sacrifice as being a pre-requisite for receiving the Eucharist when I was in school. May he rest in peace.

All low wage areas with lots of crowded working and living conditions and higher reliance on public transport. Areas with higher levels of deprivation hit hardest.

1 So easing of lockdown happens today, yet all weekend at a local beauty spot there have been families arriving in 2 cars - young families meeting grandparents - not seen for weeks - hugging and kissing!!!! Have the last few weeks been for nothing.....
