Are you a carer, supporter, partner or family member of a veteran who has difficulties with physical or mental health? Why not take some time out for yourself, and join our forthcoming carer's support group.

Great to see @LincolnPoliceUK highlighting men's mental health. We're based in Lincolnshire and offer wellbeing groups twice a week open to people with depression/anxiety and similar issues as well as our veteran-specific support services. #veterans #ptsd

Whilst our on-site activities will be closed over Christmas, Valkyrie is still OPEN to support anyone who needs to reach out to us. We'll be checking our messages all the time (except when we're asleep!). We provide peer support based on lived experience.

Remembrance Sunday. Today the nation honours those who have lost their lives in conflict. As ever #TeamValkyrie will also be thinking of the very many service men and women who live with injuries, visible and invisible. If you, or someone you know, needs support, contact us.

Final 2021 Veterans Camp will be 27-28 Nov. There will be our usual axe throwing and archery, plus blacksmiths and fireside chat. We'll continue with remote support until camps start again in Feb 2022. If you are interested drop us a message.

#TeamValkyrie were pleased to see HRH The Duchess of Cambridge highlighting addiction as an illness which can affect anyone. We work hard to support those recovering from addictions and see the impact stigma has had on their journey to seek help and support. @KensingtonRoyal

#WorldMentalHealthDay Valkyrie offers weekly peer support for people with depression / anxiety and people experiencing loneliness and isolation. We also support armed forces veterans (or serving personnel) who are struggling with mental health.

We've got places available on our axe and knife throwing session 6pm-8pm Wed 13th Sept. It's great fun and excellent for stress relief and wellbeing, and raises money to fund our work. Message for more info or to book. £15 for adults. £10 for 12-15s.

This month's veterans camp will include blacksmith demos, bushcraft, archery, axe throwing and much more. Special guests include bushcraft legend Nick Allen, blacksmith David Baynes and @WildManFrizzell . Want to join in? Message for details.

We usually advertise and book our axe throwing (which raises funds to keep us running) through Facebook. So while it's down, just a reminder that we offer twice weekly axe throwing - Wed 1800-2000 and Sat 1000-1200. Full instruction. £15 for adults, £10 for 12-15s. Msg to book.

Very excited about our first Professionals Information Event at Valhalla tomorrow. We'll be giving some local veterans mental health practitioners and a rep from the Green Social Prescribing Team the tour and a bit of axe throwing.
