Not sure who needs to hear this but....
An LLM doesn't "understand" anything. It is a statistical model that spews out tokens based on probabilities calculated through massive matrix operations and context, not an understanding of the subject matter.

“Pep/City has a low net spend” — exposed for the billionth time
🔺City Football Group (CFG) sign Savinho through Troyes. He ends up on loan at Girona and does fantastic taking them to the CL. CFG then moves him to City for a shambolic €25m.
City strong arms the Premier League into accepting that Savinho’s market value was €25m. The PL accepted that Troyes (that owned him) couldn’t have received a penny more for Savinho if they had sold him to the highest bidder — despite Savinho being one of La Liga’s top performers and being what 20 y/o. Savinho more or less flops at City, like most their signings, played what 800 minutes last season in the PL.
City then sells him for €80m to Tottenham.
Last season, City sold academy products who barely had been close to the 1st team for €89m. Or close to the 1st team — most of them had barely been close to Manchester. Did Maxime Perrone ever live in Manchester? Did Yan Couto ever live in Manchester? Did they ever visit Manchester? They reduced City’s “net spend” with €33m.
🔺This illustrates the issue with Man City. They are the best run football club in the world in many way, at least in my opinion. But they are obsessed with — cheating — and can’t help themselves.
They don’t need to cheat to be successful, but they always do it to an absolute obscene extent. They could have put a £45m price tag on Savinho. It is a paper transaction. I hold an iPhone in my right hand right now. This transfer is like if I had sold my iPhone to my left hand. An intra group transaction.
And the establishment in England, the court system, the fancy journalists, have just given up. City have turned them into that Reek character in GoT, Theron Greyjoy.
“Pep is the greatest manager ever” according to Theron Grey… sorry Jamie Carragher. Lol Pep just got 78 pts despite spending £500m in transfer fees and absurd wages. The season before that he got 71 pts.
🚨⚪️: Tottenham are pushing to sign Savinho from Man City and are ready to pay €80M (£68m) for the winger. 🇧🇷👀👀

It’s a bummer you pushed legislation that doesn’t allow victims of the same accident you had to get the same monetary benefit.
42 years ago today, I was out for a run in Houston. A tree fell on me, leaving me partially paralyzed.
My parents instilled in me the values that carried me through my darkest days: hard work, perseverance, and faith in God. Our lives are not defined by our challenges, but by how we respond to them.
Some say you need a spine of steel to lead. I actually have one. And I will never stop fighting for Texas.

Our elites are proudly trying to take us all back to the Middle Ages, when only a cloistered few scholars knew how to read, the masses toiled and died young in crushing poverty and illiteracy, and a few wealthy overlords owned all the land and lived in decadent castles.

Special report from Port Arthur, Texas. It is one of the saddest, most desolate places I have ever visited. It is also where Aramco, FIFA's major worldwide partner and an inescapable presence at the World Cup, owns the largest oil refinery in the US. theguardian.com/football/202…

The CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, admits that the trillions of dollars being used to build data centers and power grids will come from ordinary people’s savings accounts and pension funds, and says it is mandatory.
He says America needs trillions in AI infrastructure spending, and that people will be forced to “invest” in it.
“Much of this will come from savings accounts and pension accounts.”

Jessica Winter has been raising her children to detest A.I. Then her daughter’s public middle school began receiving Google Chromebooks, which came pre-installed with an all-ages version of Gemini, a suite of A.I. tools. “When my daughter, who is in sixth grade, begins writing an essay, she gets a prompt: ‘Help me write,’ ” Winter writes. “If she is starting work on a slide-show presentation, the prompt is ‘Help me visualize.’ She shoos away these interruptions, but they persist: ‘Help me edit.’ ‘Beautify this slide.’ ”
Proponents of generative A.I. in elementary and middle schools argue that such early exposure will foster digital-media literacy, and prepare them for a future in which most professions are steeped in A.I. But the technology also poses significant cognitive and social-emotional risks to young people.
