What a nice concept to train spatial thinking and play fun game!
Another preview of my upcoming VR puzzle game:

I would have been so much more impressed if Elon would have been inside those cars ... but still a 100% fun thing worthy of Disney imagineers! But folks thinking they now get a flying car ... so sad.

That right there is why many companies won't survive the widespread adoption of AI.
the markup for development infa & services running via cloud providers (i.e. github) is INSANE provision bare metal machines (i love interserver) and then ask your agents to run the services they need via popular open source alternatives (i.e. forgejo) 10x savings

Damn ... part of me expects this to be a human being replaced by AI with the robot (especially given the movement fluidity), but another part of me wonders if CIX really did something so nuts. 🤣
This video is dedicated to the AI safety kids

I did this as one of the first things in VR about 13 years ago ... but I never considered such a smart control for it! Love the sand clock idea!!!

I got an LG OLED and never connected it to the internet ... because I was aware of the mic. But now I realize that I will never be able to connect it to the internet. And even more fun ... what about selling your used tv?
Researchers spent 500 hours and $70,000 and found LG TVs logging plain text transcripts in standby, mapping every device in the house, and feeding it to LG's ad arm Unplug the internet and it saves the files until you plug back in. LG says its TVs don't record ambient conversations. The evidence begs to differ. 216 million of these are sitting in living rooms. Where are the regulators? Writer: Daniel

This could be incredibly powerful ... with a smaller screen closer to your body your movements don't need to be that extreme to get a nice effect (I expect). This solved well could give VR a boost on it's own (if people know it exists, that is).
Holy shit IT WORKS!! One shotted with GPT6 Astra I now have a fork of UEVR where I can play any UE game within a volumetric window! This actually renders the game in 3D - meaning, two real game cameras, not some depth map bullshit. Everything looks right This is an alternative (and more comfortable IMO) way to play most 2D->VR hacked games as there’s no motion sickness, and no need to redesign the UI and interaction systems Needs a lot more polish before I publish it but OMG IT WORKS!

Damn - now that is one cool cover! Adding those twists to an established theme really is where devs get me - now gonna have to check out the game!

Before the half marathon even starts, these robots already went through a full obstacle test in Beijing today. 🤖 The April 18 Warrior Challenge wasn’t about speed. It was a structured test of real-world capability under defined rules. The event was split into four categories: general obstacles, humanoid-only events, quadruped-only events, and a final challenge. In total, there were 17 tasks — including narrow bridges, flood-control building, climbing, and balance tests. All designed to evaluate terrain adaptation, manipulation, and task execution. Teams were also divided into remote-control and fully autonomous groups. That distinction matters — finishing a task is one thing, doing it without human input is another. The half marathon tomorrow will test endurance and pace over 21.0975 km. Today was about whether these systems can handle structured, real-world scenarios first.

Looking forward to demoing my game @positrongame at MCM Birmingham this weekend in the @EGX / @GameRepublic area. Getting some flyers made up to hand out at the show and direct people to come play our games, as I'm fully aware most attendees will not be there for the games!

After years of pretending to be Democrats, Big Tech leaders are now pretending to be Republicans, in hopes of currying favor with the new administration. Beware of the scummy monopoly campaign to vilify competition law as they rip off consumers and crush competitors.

This is by far the most impressive AI video I’ve seen so far. And it’s done with @runwayml and @suno_ai_ (probably also Midjourney). I love it 🚀
