Behold! The Rusty Drone Avatar Showcase. It's been a little over three weeks putting together this video and a little under three years working on the avatar itself. Hope you like it!

I'm really proud of this brand new @ResoniteApp feature - avatar facet anchors!
It's something I wanted to do for a really long time, because it opens up so many customization options for everyone's UI experience and provide quick access to whatever you need!

Finally posted my @ResoniteApp Video! 🤩
Fun to take a break from VRChat content & showcase another AWESOME platform. It's so unique! 😊 Please go watch & show some love. They're doing really amazing things, by far the most advanced VR title out there.

This was the exact video that introduced me to the concept of face tracking.
I had no idea this was possible on a consumer level, and once I did, I set on a goal to get my hands on the hardware.
Now I’m making FT accessible for all! Thank you guys for all your support!! :)
Alright! One last lip sync for the road 💙 [Cuz I gotta get back to work]
This one's "I'm not here" from Austin Weber's most recent album!
I really hope more people start doing stuff like this soon! All of this was done with the HTC Vive Lip Module and Pro Eye in #NeosVR!

MORE SETTINGS for @ResoniteApp! Do you hate it when you're charging your Vive trackers and your avatar ends up crumpled in the corner?
You can just turn them off easily now, even one by one!

I'm really happy with how the new Settings UI came out in @ResoniteApp!
There's a lot of foundational work I did to power this, which will make rebuilding other UI's significantly easier too and that opens so many new options.
There's more to come!

This is a good message. Technology will always have its limitations. When you're making something, if you work with how the tech works, instead of against it, you can make amazing things, despite those limitations.
Godot engine is limited.
People are frustrated by this fact because the engine can't do everything.
"You can't create your dream game" They say.
But this is not the game dev mindset. Technology has always been limited since the days games were written in assembly.
Game dev is not limitless potential it never was, it's asking yourself: what can I do with my limited resources within the limits of technology, not the other way around.
Simplicity is good, Limitation is good, embrace them.
BTW, you're never going to make that open world RPG you're dreaming of anyway.

I've got updated avatar textures from Duff on @ResoniteApp, setup music reactive emissives. I'm really happy with how this ended up looking. Here's some pictures from the last Campfire Friday event!

Getting into the groove of iteteratively updating the website for @ResoniteApp
We took one of the first steps today adding a bare bones "Case Studies" and "Features" page.
Next steps are to clean up the top nav-bar and add sub pages to these new categories of information.

With the air getting colder, another Halloween Frog creeps into @VRChat🐸#spookality2023
The Bubble Blower, an esteemed alchemist wizard, has invented a device that shoots bubbles out of potion bottles! 🫧
But has this old frog's moral compass been lost in his research...?
