Service fleets have room for battery tools, but electric trucks? That’s a tougher sell. 🔋🛠️ In @VMACAir's 2026 survey, just 5.7 percent plan to buy an EV. Meanwhile, 45.7 percent expect battery tools to replace some air tools. The truck and the tools are on different timelines.
Impact wrenches continue to dominate pneumatic tool use in 2026. As per #VMAC’s State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report, 87% of respondents use impact #wrenches - the most commonly used #pneumatic surveyed. What was #2? Ratchets.
