I have been enjoying a new (to me, but also fairly newly published) daily devotional edited into a year-long daily devotional following closely out from George MacDonald's Three-Volume set Unspoken Sermons. It is titled: "Consuming Fire - The Inexorable Power of God's Love." The collection is edited by Jess Lederman. Profits from the sale of each devotional go to support the ALS Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Mass in honor of I highly recommend it. I have been impacted deeply in so many ways by reading it (both as a daily devotional and reading or re-reading the individual Unspoken Sermons sections composed of several daily posts). I did the extra section reading at first simply to catch up to the mid-May starting date when I purchased it but I quickly got addicted to covering each section drawn from individual chapters from Unspoken Sermons in two or three days at the most. One other thing that has come from my interaction with Father God through the devotional...today I upgraded my X account specifically to be able to create longer content posts and share some of the incredible insights this new access to MacDonald's writings and wisdom has opened up for me. So, if you follow my relatively sparse posts up to this point, THANK YOU! And do keep an eye out for quite a few more posts coming from me as we reflect together on the wonderful stuff stirred up between God and me by this amazing brother and mentor, George MacDonald.
