Perception of Safety in Trains and Stations in Italy ➡ Through @violawalkhome Instagram page, we have launched a survey on the perception of safety in trains and stations in Italy.
- 34% reported the lack of lights to be one of the main reasons they do not feel safe on the train
- More than 90% of the respondents declared that more staff would increase their perception of safety.
A research from the #German Federal Criminal Police Office shows also that 40,7% of #women avoid to leave the #house at night and 57,9% of women avoid specific #streets, squares or parks.
