One of the most memorable #80s #movies for my young self was Robert Harmon's twisted cat and mouse road thriller #TheHitcher starring a deliriously creepy Rutger Hauer
Panned for lack of motive, the film works on an almost supernatural level
Any fans?

Thanks for being honest. Easily our best defender. Hopefully they'll listen.

Rewatched THE RETURN OF THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE(the original cut before 7 min. of it were hacked out) and I love this movie. It's pure chaos. While the original TTCM movie is the best, I am torn at ranking what's second best between THE RETURN-- and TTCM2.

Last night i watched Planet of the Vampires from 1965.
Italian scifi/horror that inspired lot of future scifi movies like Alien and watching this one it shows where lot of the influences came from.
It is a B grade movie but i really loved this one. Slowly building mystery.

If you were watching horror in the 80s and 90s, you know all to well about the crushing disappointment of renting a movie based on a 'cool' poster or video cover.
Exhibit A: Zombie Lake (1981).
I'm sure you have plenty of examples of this cruel exercise in 'bait and switch'.😁

Not in the cheapjack world of #CharlesBand, but 1992's priceless direct-to-video B-#movie #Dollman is a real treat

Madcap #slaher come #giallo #Pieces was released in the US on this day
A #horror that manages to be both insanely brutal & completely off the wall silly has to be one of the most enjoyable of the sub-genre's golden age
Here's all the reasons why 👇
