Current obsession right now. What a phenomenal score. And I haven't even gone through the whole album.

Piggybacking off of this is Stephen Barton's wonderful score for Picard S3! It's amazing that we're seeing so many game composers finally breaking through into film and TV.

Sarah Schachner doing a Predator film, Stephen Barton doing Star Trek, Olivier Deriviere doing Star Wars?! What a time to be alive!

Also hi! I'm still around. Mostly lurking, still passionately discussing video game music, just haven't had the time to restart GMH again.

It's December, and there's still an article pending out of the two that were supposed to come out for Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Life's gotten in the way, but I should have some news about that next week.

So... a lot's happened to this app since the last time I posted, huh?

One of last year's very best VG scores is finally getting a soundtrack release! Some of the most bonkers combat music I've ever heard in a game. Y'all seriously can't miss this.

So... the second Rapture article is still coming. Life's gotten particularly busy lately, so it may be a bit until I'm able to finish it. But it's still coming.

ICYMI, the first of a two-part article covering Jessica Curry's excellent score for EVERYBODY'S GONE TO THE RAPTURE is out! Check it out!
New article! Today I take a look at the use of songs throughout the score for @ChineseRoom's EVERYBODY'S GONE TO THE RAPTURE, and how they inform character arcs and relationships throughout the story. Music by Jessica Curry. 👇 gamemusichub.net/2022/08/19/… Enjoy!

This is one of TWO articles coming up about the game's music in the wake of its 7th anniversary last week. I hope you'll join me in this two-week journey through this wonderful score.

There's a new article coming out tomorrow on GMH! Not gonna lie, it's looking like another three-parter. It's being edited right now, but it's still way too long a read for it to be a single article.

For it's 7th anniversary, I'm talking about one of my very favorite video game scores of all time-- Jessica Curry's music for EVERYBODY'S GONE TO THE RAPTURE. Watch this space tomorrow!

It's unbelievable how phenomenal Prey is. So unbearably tense. This should've been released in theaters. As is usual with anything @SarahSchachner does, the music is incredible. Can't wait to go through it again dubbed in Comanche!

Also, did I read the credits right and @jgmusic contributed some additional music? Because this is a crossover I wasn't expecting.

Funny how diversity matters until some white guy decides their money is more important...

Yes, I'm mad at this news. A high-profile film led by a woman of Dominican descent, directed by Muslim men, with women at the helm of the script AND music! All gone for a seemingly nonsense reason.
