2026 Ron Massey Fall Hoops Classic Notes: 5-star 2029 power-PG Will Conroy Jr. (Village Christian/Sun Valley CA) scored a game-high 21 pts (2 threes) in VC's hard-fought 52-51 win over a feisty St. Anthony/Long Beach CA. Strong & high-scoring lead guard can create own shot from distance & has the strength to fend off defenders en route to the cup

University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson on managing his team: "I don't think I've talked to a parent in five years. Or more. I just don't deal with that. Now they all have tremendous influence on their children because it's their child.
"But I've always tried to coach these kids, these young men that I have, the way that I would want somebody to coach my kid. Teach him what the standards are and hold him accountable for those. Parents know that when they send their kids here."
