Palestinians have called for no business as usual while a genocide is happening. Ultimate players and coaches are answering this call by abstaining from WUC 2024 and Team USA tryouts. [continued in thread]
we had some hard wins but even harder losses & we did not come out of the weekend unscathed. our grit was put to the test and we learned to trust each other, to dig deep when it counts, and to fake it til we make it #SkiTownClassic2023 #FakeFriendsForever #SeeYouAtSectionals
tough weekend. we made the hard decision to forfeit against Rampage at half, the last game of the tourney. we tried to play it out but ultimately we had suffered too many injuries and wanted to prioritize the safety of the rest of the team.
it’s the rematch of the century folks VCR vs @7devilsultimate tomorrow 9am 🐈⬛😈 #SkiTownClassic (this will prob be the only tweet i mean x because we are bad with twitter updates i mean x updates)

Folks talk about wanting to "stop crime" but aren't interested in ending poverty. Rent has to go down, higher education has to be free and wages have to go up (like double). The crimes of the rich (exploitation, bigotry and war) aren't up for debate
due to multiple unforeseen & unfortunate circumstances we are going to ski town w/ a scant roster. but we will focus on the controllables not the uncontrollables.
any other tips/advice/words of wisdom for a team going to a travel tourney with a smaller than ideal roster?
if you’re playing against a team and you don’t speak the same language and there’s a call that requires a translator, you should still speak directly to the player involved, not to the translator. you’re having a conversation w/ the player not the translator
sfi west this weekend. going into it seeded 4th out of 10. weather forecast 106 deg fahrenheit or 41 celsius (we have like one canadian on the team) let’s goooooooooo 💪💪☀️☀️☀️🫠
