If you’re just getting started , count yourself fortunate. These markets are noisy, fast, and unforgiving enough to teach you the real lessons early—if you’re willing to pay attention. Most people only learn them after the capital is already gone.
Build an edge before you build a position size. That means real work: understanding why a name is moving, what the setup actually is, and what has to happen for you to be wrong. Know your process cold. Which names are choppy and should be left alone? Where is the asymmetry actually sitting? Where is the risk defined, and where is it open-ended? If you can’t answer those before you enter, you’re not trading a process—you’re hoping.
One thing has to be non-negotiable in your head: risk management, and the willingness to take the stop. Losses are not a failure of the system. They are the cost of doing business. No serious operation runs without expenses, and trading is no different. The difference between people who last and people who don’t is almost never the quality of their ideas. It’s whether they can cut the bad ones quickly and keep the damage small.
When you’re wrong, be wrong fast and be wrong small. Size so that a normal stop doesn’t matter. Review the trade afterward so the same mistake doesn’t get a second chance at your capital. Protect the downside first. The upside takes care of itself if you’re still in the game with a clear head and intact capital.

Waah, kya scene hai. Subah aankh khuli nahi ki seedha X khol liya, do line chillayi, aur samajh liya ghar chal gaya.
Aur jab quantity chupani ho to thoda dhang se chhupa lena. Kal kaafi kuch saaf dikh raha tha.
Single digit mein Qty kharidne ki expertise toh kamaal ki hai, bas thodi editing seekh lo .
Yahan chillane se na stock badhega, na izzat.
Entertainment over. Blocked.

Stopped out today.
And of course, this is exactly where the price decided to reverse :)
Few rules I follow when buying breakout stocks for swing trading:
• I rarely buy a stock after it has closed green for 2–3 days in a row.
• A red previous day often makes the risk more interesting.
• A big rejection recently is usually a red flag for me.
• 99% of the time, I want to participate on Day 1 of the swing.
I prefer buying when the move is starting, not when everyone can already see it.

Can’t really ask for more.Circuit has been revised from 10% to 20%.
Makes the setup even more interesting from here. More urgency & Liquidity expected in the name now.
#FCL - 50% move and Running
What interests me again is the character.
This is a classic 20MA rider . It has a habit of moving 20–40% in just a few sessions, then actually sustaining that move instead of giving it all back.
That is what I call urgency.
The #Chemicals group has recently seen a strong burst, and FCL is already one of the leaders within that move.
Now I want to see some tight contraction. If it starts tightening and builds another launchpad, I’ll be willing to risk big again.
Only real con: the 10% circuit :)

Crazy response from the priority names today.

When the market gives you this kind of follow-through, it’s simply an easy money day.

#CYIENTDLM Big allocation working well.
10%+ up from entry now.Ideally, I should book 1/3rd here. But I’m allowing it to play till EOD.
10/20 MA surfers remain the strongest setups for me.

Seems like a good day of expansion. It’s a big base, and the recent shakeouts have made the setup even more interesting.
Regardless of market conditions, big bases deserve space. Give the setup room.

The stage is perfectly set for pyramiding this entry and potentially going big with the initial risk.
Earnings are ~10 days away. If the stock moves meaningfully before then, it can have a significant portfolio impact.

Holding this retard.
When the market was crashing, this was up 6%.
Today the market has put in a strong rebound… and bro is red.
At this point, if I’m going to keep holding it, it needs to bounce here. Otherwise, with price hovering around my cost, it gets harder to justify keeping the position.
