Markets won't crash until retail investors feel the frenzied mania many institutional investors feel now.
I predict that is 12-18 months out, so buckle up.

the goal of tweeting isnt to gain followers. its to get a handful of likes from people you respect, a text from a concerned friend and blocked by marc andreessen

New patterns emerge. Venture, like every industry, gets unbundled in an environment where software makes markets more efficient and rewards individuals with great reputations for doing the work. It's like Proof of Work... for capital allocators 😆

When pre-product market fit avoid growing team above 10 people (unless you are hardtech).
With huge seeds you may be tempted to grow the team but small teams can adapt/iterate quicker.
@BankMercury we raised a $6m seed but didn’t grow above 9 till be launched 1.5 years later.

One of my CEOs had a hire renege just before the start date. This person did the CEO a favor.
When people show you who they are, believe them.
So much of life and business are based on trust or integrity. Can't make it happen with people you can't trust.

No, I want them to focus on building the best company possible. If they do that then the exit opportunities will come eventually
