I have time off for good behaviour - so skedaddling up to @ResFamilyLaw Future Practice Conference in Leeds - ask me about @Novalawuk and free trials of Nova Engage, 10 years of tech enabled NCDR and counting #FPConf24
Thank you to all those who have followed the journey of Family Law Lab over the past number of years. We excitingly continue our #lawtech journey over at our new home, @Novalawuk and it would be wonderful if you could follow us there before we (fondly) retire the FLL platform.

I would suggest uncontained conflict between parents - but compounded by issues such as neurodiversity - whether diagnosed or not, problems with social relations at school and on social media

Alison Wheeler, SW Lead Practitioner (B&HCC) reported young people – feeling unsafe, lack of trust, need for containment and responsive support, experience of hospital. Views of parents/carers – feeling unskilled, unsure how to keep YP safe, feel not enough is being done.

I don’t. You either have moral support from a friend as a litigant in person, or a qualified lawyer representing you. Something in between is dangerous in my view.

Thank you to everyone that came last night to the @familylawflp #Horsham Big London Bake - it was huge fun and made so by a everyone there. There were some very talented bakers, those with a creative flair, and one team who were described as having a ‘chaotic energy’!

It was an honour and delight to interview @JoDQC for @CounselMagazine to discuss the very important topic of neurodiversity at the bar and the wider legal profession. @JoDQC you are inspirational. I hope this opens up a much wider and needed conversation.
So this is why I’m in @CounselMagazine.- there’s no point in saying theres no stigma attached to being neurodivergent at the Bar unless we lead by example. So I submitted to psychiatric assessment to demonstrate, by deed, that there was no shame attached to being assessed….
