For those old enough to remember the ITV documentary is nothing new UKIP 2014 The same lack of discipline The same lack of accountability The same faces around the same Leader A man who postures but is no Leader An antagonist throughout his career In it for the attention not the job Second lowest attendance as an MEP Mirroring that in Parliament 2024 issues that were nothing to do with him repeated in 2026 Racism, misogyny, sexism 2014 excuses, pub talk, banter, the Establishment are out to get me Limited action or no action - people resign on personal grounds instead of being ejected from Reform A major issue - many now sitting as Independents with the same attitudes, beliefs and social media histories It's a far wider issue than the documentary content and many more will be exposed The same FAILURE and that FAILURE is Farage

That's true. I remember them doing so regularly, not least in Manchester, Wales. Many EU-funded city renewal projects were instead assumed to be UK-funded. Few knew about any of this. And the European Investment Bank financed grid upgrades that we're now struggling to build.
Replying to @dave43law
Labour supporter here (though I was once a Conservative who became disillusioned by Thatcher) & Farage is so far of the mark here. They deliberately suppressed the plaques on projects in UK that were funded by the EU to prevent people knowing the truth. We had a sweet deal #EUUK

It's not weakness - it is poor Leadership and is identical ti the UKIP 2014 pattern - he's an agitator not a Leader and it shows Farage's failure to address rot in Reform's ranks is starting to look like weakness inews.co.uk/opinion/farage-f…

Funny how @reformparty_uk - who were spreading misinformation to the public about migrant numbers two weeks ago - are quiet about this?

What happened starting in 1980? Mass Privatisation. So instead of your wages being decided by what your Government could afford and what you earned, you are paid as little as possible to maximise profit.

ITV blows up Reform UK racism with undercover sting For years, Searchlight has exposed the racists and extremists finding a home in Reform UK. Now, a devastating ITV investigation reveals just how deeply the rot has spread searchlightmagazine.com/2026…

🤩 The Brexit debate is moving very fast now. Bernd Lange, @berndlange chair of the European Parliament’s trade committee and a veteran of the Brexit negotiations, says Britain could move quickly into a *Switzerland plus* relationship with the EU. In other words, the choice is not simply: Hard Brexit forever or wait years for full re-entry. There are routes back towards deep economic integration much faster than that. And once again, the message from Europe is not stay away. It is: if Britain wants to come closer, the door is open.

Let's put it straight. If you haven't done anything wrong you shouldn't fear the ITV programme. If the programme is wrong bring it to court. But if you think you did something wrong than you attack the programme, already putting hands forward. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqjd…

Nigel Farage says he will fix most of the country’s problems within 100 days of becoming Prime Minister so maybe he could tell us why he’s been unable to implement a decent vetting process for well over 2 years and counting. #newsnight

The Tories have called for a 5 year freeze on the Minimum Wage to 'fix unemployment'. Corporate profits in the UK are £680bn a year, enough to employ 25.1m people on the Minimum Wage full time, including NI payments. There are only 1.8m unemployed people.

The Royal Family don't do real work like a Teacher or a Nurse says Lord Foulkes and they should have their pay streamlined like the European Royal families instead of getting £137.9m for ribbon cutting. Absolutely the Danish King and Queen get only £0.5m a year.

Left: Conservative Mims Davies claims we got the covid vaccine because we left the EU Right: Dr June Raine says UK vaccine program ran while the UK was still legally within the EU and under EU law My view: Every time a Brexit politician claims Britain got the Covid vaccine first because we left the EU, they run into the same inconvenient fact: we were still bound by EU law when the vaccine was approved. The UK authorised the Pfizer vaccine on 2 December 2020. The first vaccinations followed on 8 December. The Brexit transition period did not end until 31 December, so EU law still applied. And MHRA chief executive Dr June Raine said the approval used Regulation 174, a provision under European law that remained available until 1 January. The UK had left the EU politically in January, but that did not mean it had escaped EU rules by December. The early approval came through a regulatory route available under those rules. Brexit politicians are taking credit for a decision made while those rules still governed us, and the regulator was explaining exactly that. That is what makes this claim so shameless. They take a genuine achievement by scientists, regulators and the NHS, erase the legal timeline, and sell it as proof Brexit delivered something it did not. It wasn’t Brexit that made the vaccine possible. The official responsible for authorising it said the legal basis was European law.
