“Sunday is a big music day for me cause I can take her slow and listen to records for a few hours in the morning while I cook for my family and whatnot. This is a sequence of songs that I love, and that maybe captures a bit of the mood of the most recent record I made. The recordings of Gabor Szabo, Italian composers like Riz Ortolani for horror and western films, and ‘Switched On’ versions of pop and country songs from the 70’s were a big influence on the sound of my recordings. I’ve included 3 songs from ‘Meadow System’ for good measure.”
