TRADING IS NOT A ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL BUSINESS. I've been backtesting extensively lately, and my recent results reminded me of something important. 19 trades. 4 wins. 15 losses. Yet, my account grew from $10,000 to $10,774.98 — a 7.75% gain ( enough to get one through phase 1😂) This raises an important question: What if the problem isn't your win rate, but your understanding of how win rate, risk-to-reward, and your trading strategy work together? We often hear things like: -Never trade below a 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio. -Don't trade beyond 1:3. -You need a high win rate to be profitable. But trading is more nuanced than simply following fixed rules. What matters is finding what works for you. Learn from others, test your strategy, study your data, and build your own edge. Don't blindly follow rules you haven't tested. Understand the principles. Test your system. Trust your data. If you need to know the website I use for backtesting, send a DM.
