Please give a read -- America's military strength is tied to a belief that our our military fights for our country, not a political party.... Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth do not "support or troops," but demand that our troops support Donald Trump... not America... #holdfast

Including our own @vote4jonnyutah! Vote for integrity and accountability! You have just under 26 hours. #utpol
A total of 258 veterans are running in federal midterm elections that will determine the balance of power in Congress.
The number of military veterans seeking congressional office is up by 21% from 2024, when there were 213 veterans on the ballot.

It’s been eight months since Trump bypassed Congress and started a war with Iran. Prices are still rising, Americans can barely afford their lives, and this Administration still can’t explain what this was supposed to achieve or when it will end.
Well, well. Ted said it himself. We HAVE done something wildly wrong. It's time to vote for accountability! Vote for integrity. Elect Democrats who will demand transparency from an out of control administration. #utpol
Sen. @tedcruz in March: "I don't believe that what is happening in Iran will be front and center in November. If it extends that long, we've done something wildly wrong... The president said at the beginning this is going to be a matter of several weeks."
Captain Kelly is fighting for all of us. The administration is out of line, going after his rights. Our rights. The rights we swore an oath to defend via the United States Constitution.
Seriously?!? If you belong to these organizations, CALL THEM. #utpol
Four veterans organizations are planning to file a legal brief that would help clear the way for Trump’s 250-foot triumphal arch on the ceremonial approach to Arlington National Cemetery.
Let’s be clear about what this arch is. It’s a self-glorifying monument for a five-time draft dodger that would cast a shadow over sacred ground that generations of veterans earned with their service. The federal review meant to protect Arlington was cut short to rush it through, and veterans are already in court trying to stop it.
If you belong to Vietnam Veterans of America, the Korean War Veterans Association, the National Vet Court Alliance, or the Military Order of the Purple Heart, call or email your organization today. Ask them two things: don’t join the brief, and speak out against the arch instead. The deadline is Wednesday, and one message could make the difference.

President Obama just reminded us all something very important: he stopped Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, all without firing a single shot. Trump tore that deal up, and now we’re seven months into a forever war that nobody wanted.
What's the result? American service members are coming home in caskets, gas prices are at record highs, and Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon than ever before. That's not the victory we were promised.
Plainly obvious at the time. Still obvious this man has no business as Commander in Chief. #utpol
The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California found that Trump's use of National Guard troops was not within a "range of honest judgment." military.com/trumps-national…
Trump’s 250-foot arch would cast a shadow on 50,000-75,000 graves at Arlington National Cemetery, according to studies conducted by VoteVets and the Washington Post.
Using a to-scale 3D model, the Post confirmed what VoteVets first uncovered: the arch's shadow would reach the cemetery on 284 days a year, passing over veterans of every war from the Civil War to Vietnam. For 18 days it would cover President Kennedy’s eternal flame, and for 109 days, it would shadow the Military Women’s Memorial.
The administration says the arch would “enhance the visitor experience.” Retired Army Major General Paul Eaton, whose own parents are buried at Arlington, called it what it is: a sacrilege. A monument to one man’s ego, casting its shadow over the people who actually earned that ground.
The federal panel reviewing it, stacked with Trump allies, could approve it as soon as November 5, with groundbreaking right after. Once it’s built, it cannot be unbuilt.

This administration is wildly out of control. This is not how you plan military operations & we certainly should not be going to war in the absence of an immediate threat or Congressional approval. Par for the course with Trump & Hegseth in charge. Vote for accountability! #utpol

Don't threaten us with a good time. Do it! #utpol
According to new reporting, current and former Pentagon officials are ready to cooperate with Democrats planning to investigate Pete Hegseth if they retake Congress. Some of those closest to Hegseth even said in private that they're ready to “spill their guts” the moment they get the chance.
Accountability is coming, but only if voters hand Democrats the power to deliver it. These are the stakes this November.

Once in a while the administration makes the right call. Cancelling this grotesque Livestream was the right call. Sad that it even came up and then took so long to squash. Hegseth has to go! #utpol
Within the administration, there was immediate and “pretty universal revulsion” about the livestream plan. By late last week, even the president’s inner circle was making its distaste clear. Vance barely hid his disgust.

Using it in Afghanistan did not end that war. Using you in Iran will not end this war. It was used on a cave complex in Afghanistan. That was a legitimate target. Open question where it will be used in Iran... Either way, this Iran war is illegal & bigger bombs won't change that.
The U.S. is preparing plans to use one of its most powerful bombs against Iran—the "mother of all bombs." But what exactly is it? CBS News' @RamyInocencio explains.
Ukraine’s battlefield internet went dark without warning and the White House is to blame.
Days ago, in a sorry attempt to bring down the fuel prices caused by his own war with Iran, Trump cut a deal with Putin for Russian diesel. Now, right on cue, America is quietly undercutting the one country holding the line against Russia. A Ukraine that can defend itself is what keeps Putin from a bigger war in Europe, the kind that ends with American troops on the front lines.

Either this is true, which would be a terrible sign that the President is not in control of his own Pentagon, or it's false, in which case the President is lying about a crucial national security issue for some reason.

Great discussion last night at the VFW-sponsored Veterans Town Hall. Loved connecting with Veterans in person & hearing what our Veteran candidates plan to do to address our concerns. From county to Federal office seekers, across party lines, Veterans understand Veterans. #utpol
