Favour take this from someone who has lived in more than 3 countries in 4 differrent continents and has worked in multinational corporations.
When asked to name your salary expectation especially in a startup or SME, give the average salary expectation of that position in your locality or just go for the higher band in your area.
A company that wants to pay you more will pay you more. It also shows you as a considerate prospective staff.
Dont go mentioning outrageous figures simply because “you cant price yourself low”
