We checked 58 AI tools against their official pricing pages in the past week.
Some prices were not what most "best AI tools" lists say. Here's what we found, plus a free kit with all of it.
GPT-6.1 Terra is in OpenAI's API at $1 per 1M input tokens and $5 per 1M output, half the old Terra price, built for computer use.
Catch: the benchmark is OpenAI's own, and prompts over 272K tokens cost 2x on input.

Kimi K3.1 Pro is live in the Kimi API: $2 per 1M input tokens, $10 per 1M output, and a vendor-reported 65.7% on Terminal-Bench 4.0 vs Claude Opus 5.5 at 66.4%. Weights due by Nov 4.
Catch: it always reasons, so price it by the output tokens you actually get billed.
