The Cuban regime tries to blame its failures on others, but the reality is clear: corruption, human rights abuses, and repression are the real roots of Cuba's problems.
To the gang bosses terrorizing Haiti, your days of operating with impunity are numbered. The Gang Suppression Force is coming for you.
Heading to another Security Council meeting to address the violence in Haiti - we cannot allow more violence to reach America's shores.
The Cuban Ambassador to the UN is apparently upset we have invited former political prisoners and experts on regime-forced labor & corruption to share their views.
Given this is the same regime that persecuted his own family, I’d call @SecRubio’s focus on Cuba perfectly healthy.
Just came from voting on the next Secretary General of the United Nations. President Trump needs a partner who will help drive reform and broker peace deals.

Had a great time with Eugene Volokh (@VolokhC) at the Vanderbilt Global Free Speech Summit, discussing extraterritorial legal threats to free speech — which go way beyond the DSA.
Also ran into @TaylorLorenz !
Just as the Abraham Accords were the story of President Trump’s first term, what’s happening in the Western Hemisphere is the story of the second.
Our relationships have never been stronger as we work together to fight narcoterrorism, build prosperity, reform the UN, and combat antisemitism.
Glad to co-host a breakfast discussion with fellow UN Ambassadors from Latin American partners with Amb. @DannyDanon this morning.
Today, the UN isn’t recognizing Columbus Day. Instead, it’s “celebrating” the 25th anniversary of the 2001 Durban Conference, which evangelized virulent anti-Western, antisemitic ideology as dogma—and which platformed Fidel Castro, Yassir Arafat, and other radical anti-Western ideologues.
Last month more than a quarter of the UN’s members joined the U.S. in rejecting Durban's poisonous legacy. Now, the United States is walking out in protest, as we did at the original conference in 2001.
For the UN to restore its credibility and realize its potential, it must bury the Durban conference's legacy of grievance politics, antisemitism, Third-Worldism, and hatred for the West.
President Trump doesn't take bad deals. He is going to end the Iranian regime's pursuit of a nuclear weapon.
Great discussion with CEOs at KKR's CEO Summit about barriers to capital and investment into developing countries, international de-regulation, and the challenges and opportunities facing businesses today.
This is flat wrong. We didn’t "shelve" expanding the arms embargo or driving towards a peaceful resolution to the horrible conflict in Sudan. A short-term extension allows time for additional talks around the issue.
We made that clear in our op-ed from just four weeks ago. foreignpolicy.com/2026/09/03…
SCOOP: The US has backed off a proposal for an arms embargo on Sudan bc of divisions at the UN Security Council. A vote on a short-term extension (for the 2nd time) of the Darfur arms embargo will take place on Thurs as negotiations continue

Alongside Ambassador @dannydanon at the UN, the message from the United States is absolute: Iran and its terrorist proxies failed.
October 7th will NEVER happen again.
America will always stand with the Jewish people and for the right of the State of Israel to defend itself.
At today’s commemoration of the Oct 7 attacks held by the Israeli Mission to the UN, we heard from surviving hostages stories of resilience and hope.
This brutal attack backfired on the radical terrorists responsible for it.
Today, Israelis and Arabs are fighting side by side and the Abraham Accords are not only still strong, they are growing.
A year ago on October 7, the hostages were still in brutal Hamas captivity.
Today, as we reflect again on those barbaric attacks, thanks to President Trump’s leadership, every hostage is out.
They were always top of mind for the President.
For decades, Haiti’s gangs faced missions without enough manpower, resources, or authority.
The GSF was built differently. It has teeth.
My new op-ed explains why that matters for Haiti—and why it matters for America.

Iran broke the rules and refuses to give up its nuclear ambitions.
Just ask the IAEA, which referred Iran to the Security Council for its violations yet again just two weeks ago.
All members of the Council must enforce its resolutions with strength and consequence.
Congrats to @GreeceMFA on taking over the @UN Security Council presidency this month!
Looking forward to working with Ambassador Balta and her team on the UN’s essential job: ending conflicts and preventing wars.
