Honored and grateful to be recognized as a national 🇲🇽 and international 🌎 reference in holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) by Forbes, considered the most prestigious and influential magazine in the world, and even better to share this achievement with my colleague and friend Dr. Villeda @uro_chris_udm , a reference in Robotics #DaVinci Together we are a great team with more than 500 holeps and more than 600 robotic surgeries. @Forbes_Mexico #holep #eep #aeep #forbes

This is what a prostate enucleation should look like: no conversion to TURP-B, no bleeding, 100% outpatient procedure, 120 grams performed in 35min on a patient who traveled from the USA 🇺🇸 to Mexico 🇲🇽 for the surgery. @un_tal_urologo @LourdesFerminC #aeep #eep #holep #prostate #premiummedicaltourism

I took advantage of a trip to Peru 🇵🇪 for an international congress of the American Confederation of Urology @CAU_URO to combine two of my other passions: extreme sports and exploring new cultures. I rode a motocross bike to the summit of the "Seven-Colored Mountain" ⛰️ (Rainbow Mountain). It was an extremely high-risk activity, given the altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level, but I thoroughly enjoyed the adrenaline rush 🤩.

I have the honor of representing my country 🇲🇽 at an international urology congress in 📍 Lima, Peru🇵🇪 Organized by the American Confederation of Urology @CAU_URO @spuurologia

I had the honor of being invited as a Profesor 👨‍🏫 for a Quanta HoLEP Course, where we will share tips and tricks based on an experience of over 700 cases (725, to be exact). This time, the event took place in 📍 Hermosillo, Sonora 🇲🇽 . Dra. Lourdes @LourdesFerminC accompanies me on all HoLEP-related activities, as this is the focus of her fellowship. #aeep #eep #holep

I am proud to announce the launch of our first #fellowship in Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (#HoLEP) a 100–120 case program in six months designed to ensure the urologist masters the technique. And that’s not all: they will also become a proctor. We informally call it the "Proctor factory"; Dra. Lourdes Fermín @LourdesFerminC will be the first Proctor in her country 🇩🇴 , meaning the Dominican Republic will now have a HoLEP pioneer. 📍Centro de Próstata 🇲🇽 @SociedadDeUro

HOLEP REDO: The fear of urinary incontinence after prostate enucleation has led urologists to leave tissue at the apex "to ensure continence." What we're not considering is that leaving tissue at the apex quickly makes it obstructive and requires rapid reintervention. I believe that if we clearly identify the sphincter, we can achieve both continence and unobstructed bladder without having to choose between one or the other. Here I show you the 6th HOLEP REDO I've performed, before and after. #holep #aeep #eep Holep number 705

I am proud to share that I am the youngest prostate enucleation PROCTOR in Latin America 🌎 , certified by Boston Scientific. If you ever have a course or conference in Latin America, you can ask Boston Scientific to bring me; they will cover travel expenses. @bsc_urology

Today is a great day for urology in México! 🇲🇽. We've completed 700 HOLEPS Thank you so much to the entire team and the patients for their trust and for this great achievement! 🤩 – at Puebla, México

I have the honor of being an adjunct professor 👨🏻‍🏫 in the laparoscopy, robotic, and minimally invasive fellowship program at Hospital Cima Hermosillo 🇲🇽 , led by Dr. Juan Arriaga @DoctorArriaga , where residents come to rotate and learn #holep, and have the opportunity to actively participate in many enucleations. #aeep #eep holep number 698 @CIMAHMO @Urologos_UMANO @ElZunnniga – at Puebla, México

63 procedures in total (21 HOLEPS, 3 Da Vinci surgeries) in 30 days. Another rotation concludes with a fifth-year urology resident, where they have the opportunity to actively participate. We offer a free rotation at the “Centro de Próstata” for residents. Present at the 50th International Congress of the Mexican College of National Urology (CMUN) 🇲🇽 , and at the first golf tournament of the congress in the history of the college. @colmexuro – at Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco

Bladder tumor, in a patient I operated on 18 months ago of #HOLEP, the only thing I wanted to share was a prostatic fossa. After some time, unfortunately, he developed a bladder tumor and it coincided, we performed #enbloc enucleation of the #bladder tumor with laser. #eep #aeep

A REAL hands-on #holep in México 🇲🇽 , Dr. Nassir, a certified urologist originally from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 , attends our international program, where he has the opportunity to actively participate in a holep, strengthening the technique, obtaining tips and tricks from more than 670 HOLEPs of experience. It is an honor to contribute to urological science internationally. 🌎 #aeep #eep #proctorship – at Puebla, México

👨🏻‍⚕I had the honor of being an professor (CMUN) in a course on holmium laser enucleation (HoLEP), where we shared the benefits of the various techniques that can be used in prostate enucleation, as well as the key role of new technologies in surgical outcomes. We performed a live surgery, exchanging experiences with colleagues interested in taking enucleation to the next level ✅ Enucleation is not the future. It's the standard we're building today 🙌🏻. Thanks to Dr. Zapata for the invitation, with the support of the Mexican College of Urology (CMUN). 🇲🇽 @colmexuro
