$RDDT results not great. Guidance down, decels down, maybe search changes actually affect the business. Think it's a value play now (which may be ok). Still going to keep a small position, but pared back considerably. Probably the bottom.

Millennials: The Rug Pull Generation. Study hard and you'll get a good job. 2008 financial crisis. Work hard and you'll own a home. Housing crisis. Build a career and enjoy stability. Gig economy and layoffs. Enjoy your prime years. Global pandemic. Save for your future. Inflation. Finally, AI might free us from working our lives away. Potential World War III.

These law firms are just collaboratives. Really a United States of practice areas. Incredibly volatile too. Once a group doesn’t see the value of the taxes they pay, the internal trade deals they’ve made, or the treaties they’ve signed, the country falls to its neighbors.

Stocks I find intriguing rn that I will likely regret not owning anymore (posting for posterity): KSPI, ITUB, ZTS, TEM

Long ORCL around 126/sh. Don't need my gloss as the thesis is largely the same as @P_Remarks. sizing a bit conservatively (~5%) as I want to size bigger on one last puke (which may never come)

One of the best lessons I ever learned came from a 7th grade art class. Most people struggle to draw because they draw what they think something should look like, rather than what’s actually in front of them. They draw their idea of a face, not the face they actually see. The trick is to forget what you think you know and just be honest about what’s in front of you. I’ve come to realize that this lesson has shaped much of my life, especially in business and investing. I built a company from the ground up by looking at an industry and seeing it for what it actually was, rather than accepting how everyone thought it was supposed to work. I didn’t have all the answers, but I trusted what I could observe over conventional wisdom. Investing is much the same. So much of it is clouded by narratives, popular opinion, and preconceived notions about what a company is or should be. People often see what they expect to see, or worse, what they want to see. The hardest part isn’t analyzing the facts. It’s being willing to see them for what they are, even when they contradict everything you believe. I never consciously thought about that art lesson while building a business or making investments. It’s only in retrospect that I recognize how much it shaped the way I think.

This worked. All out. Maybe too early, but the dislocations are frequent nowadays and moats seem more fragile than ever (even w/network effects, etc.)
Added $TRI. Mkt is delusional if it thinks Anthropic has any chance of unseating $TRI. LZ's moat definitely seems toast. Is 23x FWD EPS cheap enough? Idk. I'll back up the truck if this goes lower.

Tend to agree with my friend here. Raised some cash, cut some leverage
The issue is We have hot inflation and potentially slowing GDP growth Stagflationary environment with very high stock prices and valuations You'll argue stocks are cheap I'll tell you the E may be inflated Whether true or not, market will adjust/trade accordingly

This biden’s economy still or ? Kinda hard to pinpoint the cause of this
US CPI shows the stupidity of rate hikes. The entire impact comes from refined products. Rate hikes will not create more barrels nor increase refining, but they damage families and businesses.

Trump is behind a debt spiral, adding 42% to the total debt & ~2% borrowing costs. The debt spiral is unavoidable no matter what Bessent bullshits abt it. It has nothing to do with being Republican, conservative, on the "right", or nationalist. It is just fiscal incompetence.
This isn’t apocalyptic. It’s just math. 10-year treasury at 6%. $40 trillion in debt. Do the math. That’s $2.4 trillion in annual interest payments. Larger than the entire Social Security disbursement. You cannot sustain that. Here’s the solution: just going back to the Clinton tax rates and making a few adjustments, you could save $10 to $12 trillion in deficit spending over the next decade and get this thing under control. No Republican is going to do that. Trump isn’t going to do that. And when Trump leaves office, he will be personally responsible for 42% of all the national debt in American history.

Such a unique perspective, really non-consensus
Initiating tech coverage tonite. In our view, investors underestimating the scale and scope of this $4 trillion dollar spending wave next few years. Top 5 Tech Plays into 2027 are 1) Nvidia, 2) Microsoft, 3) Palantir, 4) Apple, 5) CrowdStrike. Tesla fav disruptive tech play 🏆🐂

So assuming inflationary pressures are due to supply shock and given housing is 💩 atm, why isn’t QXO a buy here and maybe add a tad lower? Easy to see a path lower for rates if purely oil-driven (which seems plausible since core cpi kinda low(lol)). Qxo has warchest for m&a

Basically, we know bj is a prudent capital allocator but housing mkt looks bad rn, so shouldn’t this company position itself well if/when this cycle turns

This came out half-baked but basically, why wouldn’t qxo be a great way to play the rebound once supply shock wears off? RKT probably more torqued…
