@RepAndyHarrisMD Law student here. The “two party consent” rule doesn’t apply in a situation where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy, e.g., a press conference. So before you lecture other people on the law, maybe you should learn it yourself.
@RepAndyHarrisMD And if someone heckles or criticizes you, they are not violating your First Amendment rights. They are exercising theirs.
Kotlikoff sent out an email announcing that frat parties will be shut down for the rest of the school year, and that Cornell intends to provide new support measures for complainants.
It once again fails to mention that our office even exists:

Right. This is an excellent point. Clearly, something else was going on in the mind of Jane Doe when she walked in there. That she walked out having signed a statement that made the DA's life way easier is not a good look for the DA.
Here's one thing I'm confused about re: the Cornell rape case: The DA says that the reason his office didn't bring charges is that Jane Doe told police that what happened was "voluntary, conscious, and consensual." But like... who is going to the police station to report voluntary, conscious, and consensual group sex? Obviously that's not what she thought it was.

One thing I’m seeing a lot of people refuse to engage with the nuance of is there is a set of behavior that a prosecutor might evaluate as “I cannot prove a crime occurred beyond a reasonable doubt,” but which is still harmful, disturbing, and ought to have social consequences!
Didn’t your most recent book contain fabricated quotations, non-existent source references, & leave ChatGPT URLs accidentally embedded in footnotes? Maybe sit this one out you piece of shit
Like…DoorDash…come on. In what world is this not entitled to a full refund? I did not even accept the delivery!
Imagine posting your own poor project management as a brag. Lmao
A look into the @xAI office today, on Grokipedia release day. It's early morning and the xAI engineers are still in their tents. A good night's sleep will often do wonders.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Per an xAI cofounder, this is not the xAI office: hindustantimes.com/trending/us/xa…

These people don’t care about the Constitution at all. It would be blatantly unconstitutional for the federal government to impose such a requirement on local elections. (More proof their whole “states’ rights” thing is and always has been code for slavery.)

This is exactly what @Columbia should have done, except they betrayed their students and destroyed their reputation forever
The university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights. Neither Harvard nor any other private university can allow itself to be taken over by the federal government. hrvd.me/ResearchFunding25t
Some news! I’ve just accepted a University job providing advocacy for people filing Code of Conduct complaints, including Title IX violations. After advocating for myself through a stalking ordeal a few years ago, I’m really excited to fight for victims. 💪🏼
It’s a separate job from the victim’s advocate, which is a support counselor. My job will be more like a lawyer, helping the complainant get the best outcome. 👩🏻⚖️
