DeepSeek just open sourced their inference engine! Wow. With their harness and their LLM, it's a full stack for AI workflows.
🚀 Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source! Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. We’re sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable. 🔗 github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepI… 1/4

DeepSeek is changing the world. And making the world a better place for open source developers, content creators and business owners. This one model has revolutionized my own company's code production in just the last couple of weeks. And YOU will receive the benefit of this in an open source project I'll be announcing this year. The entire code base is built by DeepSeek, with Qwen doing all the document processing that goes into the massive knowledge repository. DeepSeek and Alibaba are seriously contributing to making the world a better place for knowledge, creativity and decentralized compute.
DeepSeek is the biggest threat to US frontier labs. The DHS order should come as no surprise. People think DeepSeek just makes cheap models distilled from Claude and GPT. They’re missing the fact that DeepSeek is playing an entirely different game. DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng is the wealthiest frontier lab founder, if you don’t count @elonmusk. He’s wealthier than Dario and Sam, has majority control of the company, and can play a much longer game than the other labs. Look at the choices DeepSeek keeps making: 1. It releases model weights under the MIT license. Other labs like Kimi and GLM release weights too but with commercial conditions. DeepSeek is willing to let anyone run its models and compete with their own API. 2. It publishes unusually detailed research. Its original DeepSeek-R1 research helped every AI lab, including the western ones. 3. They're ruthlessly focused on low cost inference. They’re clearly compute constrained and their architecture choices optimize for cost. Think about it: a founder who can afford to wait decades, who already built a true challenger, and who’s willing to put the models and research out in the open. Their biggest constraint has been chips. Huawei’s 950DT is coming. What happens when DeepSeek gets the chips?

So let me get this straight. SpaceX gets a 6 month to 1 year payback on MASSIVE compute clusters. It can then turn around and sell the capacity to customers at MASSIVE premiums as the demand for tokens continues to go exponential. Once those massive clusters are paid off, it can then repoint that same capacity at its OWN models (Grok/Grok Bot) and make insane margins on clusters that are already paid off. And it's working on creating an entire vertical stack that includes making its own chips (Terafab). How is this not the most valuable company in the world? $SPCX

All 50 states would block @ElonMusk from teaching a high-school physics class because he doesn’t have a government-issued "teaching certificate." There are professionals in all 50 states—engineers who built bridges, pilots who’ve flown across the world, and doctors and nurses who’ve saved lives—who would love to volunteer to teach. Yet they can’t because teachers unions have lobbied to create barriers. We should tear down these barriers and invite professionals into our schools to teach and inspire young Americans.

Tonight, as I was leaving a restaurant on 14th Street in New York around 10 p.m., this Muslim woman took a prayer rug and a niqab out of the trunk of her car, put the niqab on, laid the prayer rug down, and started praying on the street. I grew up as a Muslim in the Islamic world, and let me tell you: this is absolutely part of an organized effort to flood the public square in the West with Islamic symbolism. First of all, there is no Islamic prayer at 10 p.m. Even if she missed the Isha prayer, which takes place earlier in the evening, she has until dawn to make it up. So why choose to pray on the street at 10 p.m.? Second, a Muslim woman who does not wear a niqab or hijab in her daily life would never normally have a niqab sitting in the trunk of her car. She is clearly not strict enough to wear it every day, so why would she suddenly be so strict about missing a prayer that she carries a niqab in her trunk specifically for this purpose? Third, in almost any Islamic country, you would never see a woman praying on the street at 10 p.m. This would be completely unacceptable. If she were genuinely worried about praying, she could simply wait until she got home, especially since a missed Isha prayer can be made up before dawn. I can tell you with full confidence that these scenes we keep seeing of Muslims praying in the streets of the West are intentional. They serve to assert dominance, normalize Islam in the public square, seize ground, and demand exceptional treatment that immediately turns into claimed rights. Bad-faith acts like this are signals of the same project that turned many cities in Europe into shitholes. Exceptional threats demand exceptional measures. Islam must be banned in the West because it is not a religion; it is a hostile political ideology. Until that happens, the West will continue losing ground to this ideology every single day.

A tornado in Clarksville, Tennessee, ripped the roof off Sydney Moore’s home and sucked her 4-month-old baby into the sky still inside his bassinet. But... GOD. ⠀ The father tried to grab the bassinet but the winds swept him up with the infant. Sydney threw herself over their 1-year-old son as the walls collapsed around them. ⠀ When the storm passed their mobile home was destroyed. Both parents and the older child survived, but the baby was missing. They searched the wreckage for about 10 minutes. ⠀ The father then found the infant lying alive in the hollow of a fallen tree roughly 25 feet away. The baby had only minor injuries, including a cut on his face that was later glued. ⠀ The entire family survived with cuts and bruises. Sydney credited their escape to the grace of God. The tornado that struck the area was rated EF-3 with winds up to 150 mph. ⠀ Think about what it means when a 4-month-old is lifted out of a collapsing home inside his bassinet and found alive in a tree minutes later while the rest of the family also walks away. But... GOD. ⠀ #Miracle #Tennessee

Dear President Trump, It has come to my attention you have launched a “whistleblower program” whereby lowly citizens like myself can report fraud, waste, and abuse for a financial reward. I hereby report THE ENTIRE U.S. GOVERNMENT. PS: Please remit payment in gold bullion

Do you know why young, healthy athletes are getting life-threatening blood clots 5 years after getting the COVID shot? Because there is no off switch. Here's a graph showing spike protein antibodies that go down with filtration then come right back up. @robert65968 @NIHDirector_Jay

BREAKING: Melissa Batie-Smoose, a former assistant volleyball coach at San Jose State, has RENEWED her lawsuit against the university after she was allegedly fired for opposing a male on the women's volleyball team. Melissa claims that the university violated Title IX and her religious rights by retaliating against her for raising concerns. Men DO NOT belong in women's sports.

Please hold guys. I’m on the phone with the lawyers and it looks like Jeremy Boreing actually has no contractual right to blow confidentiality and lie about the reasons for my termination… and I actually have a right to respond with the truth and proof of that truth. Please hold.
