When New Recruit Media walks in, the first thing we do is a temperature check. You can feel it. Gym’s full of talent, and a lot of these guys are locked up. So we bring the energy. We get everybody loose. We unnerve them a little on purpose, just enough to break the ice, get the legs warm, and get them back to why they came. You remember that feeling? Parents load the car. You’re riding somewhere you’ve never played. Tryout. Camp. First time outside your fishbowl. Different schools. Different parts of New York. That’s a big deal. Some of these kids have been here before. For a lot of them, this is the foot in the door. There’s always another level. Always a bigger gym. But this one is believable. You walk in and you might not be the man. That’s the point. You find out who you are by how you play against the talent in the building. Smaller D1, D2, D3 looks. Real size. Boys turning into men, with the portal, prep schools, and ages all over the place. Wide range. Real opportunity if you show up ready. Shout out to the Upstate Scout Invitational. Andy Wright, keep doing your thing. #newrecruitmedia #newrecruitpodcast
