So, @UpbirdsFC, how does it feel to wake up this Saturday as Champions? The lads started their well earned off season with a raucous awards party last week at the brilliant (and tolerant!) @adamandevee9 pub, enjoy the holidays boys! #CHAMPIONES #HWFG #ForzaUpbirds #footballfamily – at Hackney, London

Upbirds are back, but not as you know it. Follow us in our new rebrand - @ChattanFC - and cheer on the Champions as we look to inflict goals goals goals on London.

After Saturday’s match, @UpbirdsFC vice-captain @GeorgePrior7 presented @crossworldfc with a £150 donation from the team’s match fees. Any further donations will go a long way to supporting Crossworld’s fantastic cause. #footballfamily uk.virginmoneygiving.com/don… – at Hackney, London

The @UpbirdsFC sign off the season with a 2-0 victory versus a frenetic @crossworldfc who looked fully worth their 4th place in the league. Huge effort second half to take the 3 points and finish the league campaign in Championes style! Upbirds are 🔛🔝☑️ – at Hackney, London

Last game of the 2017/18 season for the @LondonFootballs PL Champions, out to finish with a record 22nd win of the league campaign and redress the defeat to our hosts in the reply fixture back in November. ⚽️ v @crossworldfc 📍 Hackney Marshes ⏰ 2pm KO #ForzaUpbirds #champions

Sore defeat in the sun, losing out 2-1 to a determined @PPRFC. Not at the races at all but half chances and sloppy goals made it a frustrating afternoon. Nonetheless, those Champions pints in the beer garden still taste great. #ForzaUpbirds

Penultimate game of the season today is a match-up of League Champions @UpbirdsFC versus potential runners-up @PPRFC at Hackney Marshes, 2pm KO. Bank Holiday weekend has depleted the squad but still a mighty strong XI to face our old rivals ⚽️💘🏆 #TopoftheLeague

The Champions are back in action, an early 10.30 KO today vs Dynamo Santos at the Marshes. Still plenty to play for: golden boot, donkey of the year, best defence... #bestdayoftheweek #champions

Magnificent effort from the whole squad, and a great achievement for a group of lads who have smashed all that’s come before them. Third championship in five years - the @LondonFootballs PL title is back where it belongs. Roll on the last three matches #Champions

WE’VE ONLY GONE AND WON THE LEAGUE!! CHAMPIONS!!! 🏆🏆🏆

While the anticipation builds, the onion bag was bulging for today’s scorers, including a hat trick for both @sguest01 and @jamieclark_4, and couple of braces for @jtmurr and @eastendmonty. That’s the lads up to 111 goals for the season! #raisealeg

A rampaging 10-1 win for @UpbirdsFC in the sun vs Chastards FC, including a farewell hat trick for @sguest01 in his (potential) departing appearance. Now the anticipation builds for the @PPRFC v @TheSWUFC result... #topoftheleague

So, could today be the day @UpbirdsFC are crowned @LondonFootballs Premier winners? We need 4 points from our last 4 matches, starting with our match this afternoon vs Chastards FC at Leyton, 2pm KO, but 3 points could be enough if results elsewhere go our way! #forzaUpbirds

Utterly convincing 5-0 last week vs @dalstoneaglesfc, scoring within 2 minutes and in control from there. The result extended the @UpbirdsFCrecord to 14 league wins in a row, stretching back to early November #LeagueLeadingForm

Too many goalscorers to name, but great performances all round, with special mention to Schofield and @jamieclark_4 for Man of the Match displays, while @GeorgePrior7 and Sandy took donkey respectively. Five games to go! #topoftheleague

Late update on the lads’ win on Saturday vs a talented but naive TG FC XI, overcoming the bottom team 8-1 and 7-0 in 2x 60 minute matches to stretch the @UpbirdsFC lead at the top of the table to 11 points (having played two more games) #forzaUpbirds

It’s off to our end of season home, the Leyton 3G, for an unusual double header match vs lowly TG FC XI - two 60 minute matches with 6 points on offer! Big day for the @UpbirdsFC #howaythelads

@UpbirdsFC stay top of the league with a 5-3 win over Holloway Accies. Cruising at 4-1, a red card for British Jon in the 55th minute changed the game, but a courageous effort from the lads ensured the three points stayed at Victoria Park. #ForzaUpbirds
