Letters has been a long time coming and we were fortunate to land it with such a dedicated team that understood how important it was get it right. Thank you to @ayshspice for going all in from the very beginning, and to Julia Eagleton at @janklownesbituk, Sara Pagluica, Heather Tesoriero, and Fajer al-Kaisi for bringing these letters to life and getting them to listeners.
It’s been heartening to hear how this story resonates with so many people and has helped to slowly shift the narrative about and from one of one of the world’s most notorious prisons.
Here’s to the power of storytelling, to not forgetting the many victims, survivors, and men still being held, and to the ongoing fight to #Closeguantanamo
